But what i'm really curious about is what Touhou meant when he confirmed that Tsukune had the same "cursed smell" as Alucard, did he mean "scent" or "power" when he said that, thats what i want to know.
But what if that deep, deep darkness was transferred to Tsukune as well as her blood? Could that have explained what Touhou sensed? And won't our dear little megalomaniac be shocked when the darkness is no longer within her sister, thus throwing yet another wrench in her plans. Serves her right for thinking she's the only one who can save Moka. She has a lot of loyal (and more level-headed) friends, can Akuha say the same? I don't think so.

Anyways there are a few panels where the necks are a bit elongated, seems Ikeda hurried. lol
EDIT
Spoiler for ch.41 image:
I'd love to see this colored.
that wont take long scenes like that are instantly done.

Spoiler for 41:
The only thing that we can say about that at the moment, is that there exists some kind of connection between Tsukune and Alucard. The specifics would have to wait until the translated chapter comes out, or some more detailed summary of the chapter.
I think that the next chapter is going to be less exiting then the current one, since I believe, it's going to be mostly about Tsukune recovering from his latest transformation, maybe even with Tohou Fuhai's explanation on the topic of what kind of being Tsukune is actually becoming - since it seems, Tohou Fuhai might know something about it, if we take into consideration that he tried to kill Tsukune, because of him realizing that Tsukune is something else, then a Ghoul.
Even though I'm shipping for Moka x Tsukune........way to go Kurumu-chan! I wasn't expecting that at all.
I think the only connection between Tsukune and Alucard is the Shinso blood. It was synced to Alucard by Akasha to seal him. Then Akasha transferred it to Moka and the rest is history. Then again, Touhou Fuhai did say that Tsukune had the same "cursed smell" as Alucard...I'm guessing that has something to do with the inherent darkness in vampire blood.
Still can't help but think even though Kurumu kissed Tsukune, this might still be the beginning of the end of the harem. It's kinda like Kurumu's last ditch effort.
Perhaps Tsukune is becoming a transcendental being like Alucard, but in a different way, and i do have to say Tsukune does possess a lot of physical strength when he gave Touhou that brutal punch, his strength had supassed Akua's, now all he needs is the techniques now, i just wonder how strong hes going to be when he wakes up even without his full Shinso power.

Basically a godly state of existence, Alucard was considered a transcendental vampire, thinking back on how easily Touhou confirmed that Tsukune was exactly like Alucard, meaning Tsukune has either achieved a transcendental existence or is close to becoming like one or it could have been something that was used to describe how incredibly powerful Tsukune and Alucard are.

More specifically, Touhou stated
Spoiler:
that it was the smell of someone who brought calamity to this world. "Cursed" was the next best adjective in my vocabulary at that moment.

It's probably because Tsukune is in mod creazy, in this state, his energy,or essence is comparable to Alucard..to' destroy everything...

Spoiler for 41:
Ah, because I remember there was a conversation about transcendant beings a while ago. It really depends on what you would define being one that transcends, but achieving a similar state of power as Alucard here is feasible in Tsukune's case. Fuhai-sensei's statement that he has the same smell as Alucard hints that Tsukune's current form may be similar to Alucard's after he lost his. I stand by my earlier argument that they're related to each in that Tsukune is Alucard's descendant.

Spoiler for 41:
If Tsukune were to be a descendant of Alucard he would also be Akua's blood relative. It's kind of difficult to understand what Touhou actually meant when he said Tsukune had the same "cursed smell" as Alucard, unless Touhou explains more in Ch42 or even at all, but Tsukune being compared to Alucard so easily means that he has become a very strong ayashi, i just wonder how strong he is now
Touhou's comment about similar scents was not about being of the same species or being related. Actually, it's just that both can naturally invite disaster, as if they were walking vortices of tragedy. It's just that both had most likely reached a comparable level of inherent negativity and thus developed an aura that feels like a stench to other people.

Yes,I also think so.
Alucard scents Is pure wicked..Tsukune in this state,is out of control, and his wicked is out...,this is comparable to' Alucard
I think that, what Tohou Fuhai meant is that Tsukune, in his out of control state, temporarily reached a similar state as Alucard did.
After all, for now there hasn't been anything mentioned about the existence of a different line of Alucard's descendants apart from Akua.
Let's also not forget about the fact that, in the past there existed a law, that said that vampires can only get together with other vampires - and this rule, probably existed for some time, if other ayashi races knew about the existence of such a rule ( R+V Season I, chapter 40) - and that vampires are probably pretty harsh when it comes to "breaking" their law.
Oh, and according to the Rosario wikipedia the chapters title is "Vow" (Jap. "Chigiri")
Kurumu did the kiss!
I'm so glad to see the Gin - Kurumu flag was broken , never like it when a heroine(whether she's the main or the supporting) end up with some other guy so this chapter is just perfect.
Could this mean a new power up for Tsukune? Vampire + Succubus = Tsukune
Perhaps, like Akua, Tsukune is also a descendant of Alucard. It's quite possible Alucard did it with a human before he lost it entirely and Tsukune just rolled down the tube over time. It's prolly the reason why Tsukune resisted the blood transfusions (iirc, Moka had said it could kill him at first) as well as the transformation ritual. Anyways, this lends credence to the argument that Tsukune's current form is likely similar to Alucard's when he was using his full power.
here's a thought:
Spoiler for alucard:
Alucard started off the same as tsukune, a human. Like tsukune, he got dragged into the world of Ayashi and was forced to take on the shinso blood to survive but failed to control it and went insane. hence where things will change between the 2 of them from this point on. Perhaps as a human he mated with a human woman and the descendent would be tsukune who took on all the human aspects of alucard. Mikogami found out about this which is why he hadtsukune brought to the school. whereas when he gained the shinso blood he mated with an ayashi and the descendent became Akua.

Spoiler for 41:
I wouldn't say that Gin X Kurumu has been broken, but rather delayed. After all, chapter 40 and 39 weren't the first time, where Gin and Kurumu had some moments with each other, so it still remains a possibility that Kurumu is going to end up with Gin in the future - since, I don't think anyone knows for sure, how the R+V manga is going to reach it's conclusion.
In my opinion, the kiss, that Kurumu had with Tsukune in the current chapter, is just Ikeda's way of "resetting" Tsukune's harem, after he made Tsukune confess his feelings foreword Moka in chapter 35, but I don't think that the events of chapter 41, prevent Gin X Kurumu from occurring in the future.

Spoiler for Alucard:
I would like that theory but Alucard is said to be the oldest Vampire to have existed, and I'm estimating his age to be at least 1000 because of it. I would think that if Alucard was human at all, he became Vampire the way some tales of old recall, such as being given power and immortality by Satan himself.
I would say because he is a normal human that's why the reaction he's having to the Shinso blood...
If I had to back any theory I've heard I would go with the reason why Belmont was brought into the manga for. That rather being a descendant of Alucard, he's a descendant of some vampire hunter/killer. Of course I'd rather he just be some regular Joe Bob human struggling in a world that was beyond is own imagination originally. I think that's pretty much the whole premise of the manga to begin with...
