Hell, that part wasn't even really nakama power, that was Natsu telling them to concentrate on something they absolutely wouldn't give up on before they died. Natsu's was finding Igneel specifically, not generic 'for my nakama.' Lucy started out thinking about the guild and her nakama at first when trying to decide what her main motivator should be, but ended up settling on refusing to abandon her spirits to being stuck with that demon.

Eh, its all pretty relative... i mean the crux of it is that they are either overpowering powerful foes, or resisting irresistible forces through what is nothing more than shear force of will. Motivation might be a tad different but the effect is all the same. Would have liked if they just skipped to the part with Lucy trying to dismiss her spirits.

Ya, i lost interest in minerva as a villain. She makes a big deal out of being strong and yet it seems like she always trying to get an unfair advantage. The most annoying example was in the eternal flame arc when she waited until Erza was reduced to a magic-less child. Really? That's how you plan to prove you are better than Erza; by beating her up as kid? It just makes her look pathetic. Neo Minerva does feel much better... not only did she have to get a demon boost, but she's going after Erza after she's already been through torture and fighting with a demon.

Also i seem to recall her looking down on illegal/dark guilds which would make her seem even more pathetic for joining the dark side... but i'm not sure about that. i could be remembering wrong.

I also feel like we've been getting too much of her. I mean this is the third arc in a row... would have been nice to get a break from her before she showed up again. Also i think another problem is she didn't really seem to score a lot of good villain points, like actually succeed in doing something really note worthy... worst i can recall was beating Lucy in the games, but that's it. We've seen her lose to Erza twice now and i have no reason to think she won't lose again; doesn't make the fight very compelling when your reoccurring villain ALWAYS loses.

Minerva who first appeared in the grand magic games was a great character who had qualities of a villain, I especially like the part where she was beating Lucy in the water event & Stabbing Kagura from behind claiming points she was literally a villain but losing to Erza again and now another rematch now that she is Neo Minerva(lol).

I would really like to see Minerva v.s Kagura since she just stab Kagura from behind after Kagura's fight with Erza, To see if Minerva can actually defeat Kagura head-on.

It was nice how Lucy tricked the demon guy. I get the feeling that this will not even be the last time Minerva and Erza fight. Oh well nothing to do but see how this fight between Erza and Neo Minerva goes.

Another Erza VS Minerva, really? WHY?! She lost to Erza twice now! I could understand if it was other way around but this fight is useless!

Y'know what might be more compelling... if Erza actually loses to Minerva and its up to someone other than Natsu to beat her. Like Lucy. Beating Minerva would give some credit to her new power while at the same time pinning her against someone who is recognized as being weaker than Erza would help give the fairy tail member some decent underdog status and thus more able to root for.

Not sure though... Minerva could be too overplayed no matter what the circumstances. Its like she's the queen of cheapshots, but at the same time she always loses. Kinda makes it hard to find her interesting as a villain. I guess Mashima just doesn't know how to handle a reoccurring villain... though then again, most shonens don't really have much experience with that since the vast majority of shonen villians only have one big fight and then are either beaten for good, or turn into good guys.

Minerva gets popularity because she's Hiro's version of what a heavy metal Mio from K-On would look like, down to the striped panties and everything. That gains the masochist crowd.

END looks much younger and more human than I expected. The design on his coat looks kinda similar to the pattern on Acnologia's skin as well.

they said he's king of hades. That guy isn't master end they said he was king of hades. This guy is a demon but he isn't the master. Somehow I suspect he has something similar to brain of oracion seis where normally he's somebody else but something special happens and he becomes master E.N.D
