Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu (Skeleton Knight in Another World) is getting an anime adaptation.

Plot Summary:

Haha, they picked a good VA for taking on Arc's role. His character personality is priceless in this show so far. I'm actually entertained by what I saw although I hope we get to see more of that elf girl too.

Huh, looks fun. The OP is epic, the lead is likeable enough, and his enthusiasm & excitement to have a fun fantasy adventure is a bit contagious. Looks like a harmless fun comedy isekai show since he's a skeleton and have to interact with people a lot.

Is that the order things happened in the novel - after he went isekai I mean? I must be remembering things incorrectly.

The first episode was fun.

Wow, I hated that OP, though the ED wasn't too bad. Also didn't jive with Arc's overall personality, he felt so superficial.

Guess it's not my cup of tea after all.

Cold open with the sexual assault scene while the trigger warning showed at the top of the screen was all sorts of classy... these guys definitely graduated from the school of Reki. Not really my kind of isekai though, I was just morbidly curious about Skeletor.

So its like Overlord, only the OP Skeleton actually tries to be a good guy instead of bad guy.

I guess I'm the only one who immediately thought of Ogon Bat when I saw a laughing skeleton...
Anyway, I wonder if the rape scene was just bait or the series will alternate between disturbing moments and comedy. Regardless, it seems a nice series, I'll keep watching.

Felt the same about the OP initially, but it eventually grew on me after listening a few times. Guess its that type of Song.

Frontier Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2013	Spoiler: Opening up this RPG Isekai anime with a sexual assault in progress...is a choice, but it does make it even more suitably dramatic triumphant when our protagonists shows up to save the day and cleave some bandits . The Opening is a pretty rocking and old school theme, featuring Arc on his adventures, enjoying the pleasures of this world, and saving young girls in need, while also showing him off with his companions. Also has Arc laughing like he's Skeletor . It's a tale as old as time...guy playing a game late at night ends up getting transported into said game as their OP player character and has to make a living. What makes it a little more complicated is he went for a skeleton avatar, which is fun to play but a little more complicated to actually live as in case anyone sees what's under that helmet . Tomoaki Maeno really sells Arc's enthusiasm well, especially whenever he sees something that's Fantasy, and I love how he says the dramatic attack names . We briefly meet our female lead, the elf girl voiced by Ai Fairouz, and she seems to be in search of something that I assume will inevitably bring her and Arc together...and she's fairly attractive, so I'm curious what her dynamic with Arc will be. Will he be attracted to her being an elf because he's into anything Fantasy ? The guild guy coming up with a fake tragic backstory for why Arc needs money was kind of hilarious . Arc debating whether to intervene in the bandits' attack depending on if he can handle fighting a big PvP fight...but once he decides, there's no mercy for those bandits as he cleaves them in half and annihilates the rest. And then he burns any of their remaining bodies. And in true RPG fashion, he steals their loot . Is that young lady smitten with the heroic knight who saved her? I'm not sure if we'll see her again, but it's always good to have a lady of good standing (and who seems to come from the family that runs the city you're in) in your corner . The Ending is a pretty nice female JPOP ending, showing off CG versions of the cast together with particular focus on the elf girl. She has a wonderful smile . __________________
