Those figures seem reasonable, but ignore pre-orders.

Good sales overall, BD+DVD approach 10k for the 1st volume; if the novel gets a boost in sales too, second season would be very likely... hopefully with less plot

Nice figures for DxD. Great to see Haganai selling well too. Ano Natsu de Matteru sales are great too. Also didn't know Gintama were so popular on DVDs. (comparing to all the stats from about 2 seasons ago when most shows were barely getting 1-2k sales)

High School DxD solds pretty well, but Symphogear isn't there (despite the theme songs used in this series, especially the ones used by Mizuki, solds well, but someone mentions that the music and other CDs products are more important than everything else)

That I wonder myself. I know that people mostly buy BR at least for HS DxD, but still Brave 10 DVD's being so high is a lol for me. It should be below Haganai and even below Guilty Crown.
Brave 10 is at best mediocre. But it may be fangirls buying DVD's for some boys to ooze at.

It seems like 2,999 must be a very high number for you guys, but it comes mainly because when a public isn't sure if the BD's goods are going worthy to buy the sales ends going for DVD.

FYI:
I accord to Oricon:
2,999 in total BD + DVD sales

But Oricon also says:
2,999 DVD sales, which obviously means there is no BD to sell to begin with.

Haganai Vol. 3 has a drop on his overall sales for this volume, but I guess its because Yozora's screentime is worthless there is no much Kobato or Sena on it which is what got public's attention and money, heck, just look at the fanarts.

I am happy that Brave 10 sales are high since I have nothing against it. I enjoyed it without any complaints. It was a great series.

I can still argue that Brave 10 sales should be LOWER than the Highschool DxD sales a bit more. Probably because DxD has more plot to it. Also, enjoying the "sweet" bits in there. Can't wait for season 2 if there is going to be one... Bring out the new enemy!

I wonder if some of yours could understand within my post, but I agree about those Brave10 posts. It seems that some (supposed to be) male-oriented (shounen, seinen) titles, especially the ones that has handsome men in it and are drawn by women (Black Butler, Pandora Hearts...), are mainly targeted to female audience. Brave10 is one of them, but this new trend is still below the moe otaku trend.

By the way fellows, I didn't want to believe it, but that text-less ED should be in the last volume, 5 months from now. What the heck.... 2 seasons of Anime will have arrived by then, what if the ED is upstaged by something even more tastier

Speaking of the disc releases, I noticed something amusing about the 2 covers so far, and it has to do with a girl in the foreground and Issei in the background. Hmm I wonder who's next. And since I seem a little dazed, I decided to list the upcoming Specials for anyone who is interested.

Spoiler for future BDVD specials:

-Special #2 is probably about Akeno, and what looks like the popular theme these days, "training". I swear Training With Hinako really started something there Well it better be about Akeno, she gets no specific mention anywhere.

-Special #3 is definitely about Koneko. Oh I can't wait for that

-Special #4 is about the Dress Break, and it's probably what the anime didn't show us, you know, the parts when Issei was assaulting Aisha *cough*

-Special #5 is Cooking With.... someone. It better be a Seitokai special. Can't shaft those glasses girls

-Special #6 is about Aisha. From the description, it may be a Mahou Shoujo Aisha thing, at least I hope so

I've now come to the realization that all this time, I might have been mispelling Aisha's name. Ah whatever, just another nickname I stick to every girl I meet

I demand a special for the Seitokai and another for Kendou-bu! The studio was so damn lazy that reused the stitches of Katase and Murayama from episode one in one of the two cuts of the last episode

Good to know that volume 1 BD and DVD sales are doing well. I think the later volumes will do better since the series has a bit of a slow start and there's more ecchiness in the other episodes.

If TNK or whatever anime studio continues the series I hope they stay true to the original source material as much as possible. I'm expecting some changes since its an adaptation but nothing drastic that it alters the story entirely (like Sekirei S2). Lastly I hope the next season will have a better OP and at least have an ED as awesome as the first.
