Second part of the hot spring trip. Our heroines are going on a mountain to find lost relics in order to regenerate the hot water, and everything worked for them, with the appearance of a dragon. Now that they accomplished the mission, they finally relax the hot spring at this rate, and when the hot spring maids are giving Leviathan a new magical jewelry, it looks like she'll grow stronger by finding the lost traces of her older brother with the help of her best friends and a fairy. Will look forward to the major climax of this anime!

Leviatan 10 - Levi Digivolves to... I Don't Know, Seadramon?

I do find it amusing how everyone drew the sidequest that would be the most disadvantageous to them. But a skilled player can overcome any sidequest if they grind enough, or find a nonstandard strategy. It helps that they're working with three pretty common elemental powers here. Fire Drake was very obviously Playstationy, but then again, so was Yurururururulungurl, so it works as a way of signifying his power. I do wonder what Levi's evolved powers will actually mean. More splash damage? A fancy new outfit? Is this at all related to the Samurai Bride?* As far as lighthearted fantasy goes, this is turning out to be a pretty enjoyable one. Once again, I can positively compare it to Koihime Musou. Especially the third season, which also had a series of sidequests that eventually folded backwards into each other towards a certain conclusion.

I personally hope Mu-chan and Jormungand evolves too since I feel like it'll be kinda unbalanced if they didn't.

So this week they each get a sidequest within their sidequest that was in a sidequest that was in a sidequest. They haven't even played the main story quest yet!

I do find it amusing how everyone drew the sidequest that would be the most disadvantageous to them.

That is quite funny. Jorm would have been better for the ice one (although Bahamut could have gotten through the ice, she probably would have roasted the flowers), Bahamut would have been better for dealing with the magma one, and Levi is the obvious answer for the waterfall problem. More amusing is how none of them apparently thought of that ahead of time.

main 3 meet volcano dragon give all small need it medicine so main 3 get the pieces but oops mix wrong elememt doing.

lev got ice place, bah got water fall, & jor got under lava place give if other area could have yet go all in got the pieces & make the medicine for volcano dragon with add of volcano curry all good.

& that done hot spring owner give a gift which it went inside lev as a power-up.

Spoiler for Episode 11:

Loved the latest episode this show is offering. Not much ingredients are different episode by episode due to the usual episodic routine, but it looks like Jormungand's triplets are lost in the desert, are repairing a frog statue before going to find their older sister later. Meanwhile, Leviathan and friends are fighting against a mechanical monster, and thanks to the hot spring landlady offering a magical gift to her, Leviathan is now getting her overpowered version with alternate coloration! I enjoyed the fight and there's a chance that the mysterious boy will return when the fallen rocks suddenly awaken to the top. With two episodes left, I can't wait to see who the mysterious boy is and whether he's related to Leviathan.

main 3 dragon back in temple to help save it while jor's 3 sisters wander around give see a rocky frog fix it eyes get water.

then main 3 give prob with bigger enemy til lev finally evolve into blonde hair power-up water holding combine jor's axe boom goes bigger enemy.

oh temple girl all ok cause water she got from jor's 3 sisters all good & poor bah got pancake'd by her own luggage yet wonder why jor's 3 sisters appear cause it mystery boy invite them.

There's a some drama introduced in this episode. A bunch of monsters killed some villagers and puts the rest in danger. Our poor Bahamut is still saddening over the fact that her father is apparently in danger, and there's a backstory on it, which I find incredibly touching. Let's hope that our heroines should battle the monsters in order to save their precious lives, and I will look forward to see the battle as well the truth behind the young boy who had a potential on Leviathan, and it will be nice if everything that it matters importantly on these cases will be resolved next episode, which is the final one, though I guess it wouldn't be over yet!

main 3 back in town have tavern food give syrup ask to join defense force give jor & bah agree while lev still wonder.

bah went home hear news big monster coming to town so read book to improve her magic til found a hidden book that her father wrote & mention her mother give revealed that bah was adopted child of her father cause she already a baby with her mother.

lev have dream talk with her brother to tell her join defense force to save world so then jor arrive ask lev if join so go see bah goes missing so they search for bah.

found bah in hill giving go like "quit defense force" give trying to run til confess about book said she is adopted child then uh-oh give monster appear & it same one from beach.

A shame it doesn't get enough attention as I expected. I understand why not everyone will like it because of Gonzo, and the girls' personalities might turn some people off, but the fact it gets a "Worst Anime of 2013" title according to both Flawfinder's view as well MyAnimeList is very insulting for those who like it (including me) so of course I'll probably forget after it finishes but I will not totally ignore its existence of course.

Spoiler for Episode 13 (End) + Review:

The ending was fairly predictable: you could see something big happening, Bahamut realizing that she's useless for anything want to come something awesome to save her comrades, they defeat the monsters, retrieve their families and the mysterious boy is giving encouraging words for Leviathan. It's not like predictacle elements are bad or something, they are abused with moderation, though I enjoyed this show for what it is. Simple yet sweet animation, but the story is way too episodic with some layers of a major plot involving Leviathan's character, not many sub characters are very developed, though the fun interactions make up for it and it was forgivable to my standards. The action scenes are some of the best aspects to watch the anime, the fanservice being tame was already great enough so is the music department, it was nothing revolutionnary, but it was still watchable and I could even look forward to see more of it.

I see what are you talking about, but man why is the anime fandom a bit too obnoxious at times? Even the standards are changing which is why I'm avoiding reading the threads of many modern anime because of their fanbases.

Besides, I liked this show overall and as I said before, I wouldn't mind to see more of it.

bah still bit confuse to do see her father give read the "book" he still called bah his daughter.

lev & jor with bah's dad trying to defend area even summon yur-dragon bit in trouble then bah see jor's 3 sisters then after some realize came to rescue.

so summon fire dragon with combine bah's flame, blonde lev water blast & jor's aze hit cue boom the giant monster.

after that bah & her father patch-up now main 3 unite to go on a journey to save the world (oh bar taven got smash like spanish announce table).

yet "boy" tell them still got long way to & the adventure continues.
