How is it possible that there were espadas before Aizen came to the Hueco Mondo? Or am I misunderstanding something here?

Espada have been around for a while, all the Privaron Espada were Espada before Aizen came to power, but afterwards they lost their rank as Aizen could create more powerful arrancar using Hoyoku

We really don't know how long Aizen had been in contact or in charge of them. He did experiments on them prior to rebelling and they helped him to flee SS. So he could have been the ruler of Los Noches before he went from Clark Kent-Anti-Superman. It's not that you are misunderstanding... You are just forgetting to include the time that Aizen was involved with Hollows before he broke his glasses...

Another thing... it doesn't really say that the Privarion Espada were around before Aizen was in charge...Just that he prefers the ones he created with the Hougyoku over the ones who were created naturally.

#9 was one was a first generation. Yet he had to have become a Privarion after or during Aizen's reign in Los Noches. Since Aizen was responsible for his unique abilities that allowed him to join the ranks of Espada. So it's still unclear just how long...Aizen was actually in contact with, nor is it clear how long he has been the ruler of Los Noches.

Its even more confusing then it already is when you thrown in the Nel Angle . Nel was the former thrid Espada but there is already a former Third Espada Dordonni . Does Nel's ranking predate Dordonni or vice versa only Kubo knows .

in the anime during the SS arc when Yoruichi stops Byakuya from realeasing his soul slayer on ichigo. he explains about some of Yoruichi background. he says about how she was 'Corps commander of the 1st squad'. does that mean that she was also captain of the 1st squad or just that she handeled the 1st squad while the captain oversaw eveyone else in SS.

ALSO on the anime it does not say anything about Yoruichi being captain of the 2nd squad anywhere in the anime. just that she is the 'former (now is SOIFON) supreme commander of the secret mobile corps and 'Corps commander of the 1st squad'

is some of the info different in the manga. i have not read that far back. only sinse the HM arc i have started reading.

Youruichi was the leader of the special forces which is an seperate unit next to the gotei 13 and kidou corps

SoiFon is captain of the 2nd squad AND leader of the special forces

Just to add to WonderMike's explanation . its been nowhere mentioned in the manga Yoru was a Taichou . We assume she was a captain , IMO she was but it still has to appear in the manga .

Just to add to Geta's and WonderMike's explanation...Yourichi was actually equal or higher in rank than the first squad captain, commander of the Gotei 13.

Also called the Secret Mobile Unit/Corps or Covert Ops, the onmitsukidō (隠密機動, onmitsukidō? lit. secret tactics, called the Stealth Force in the English dubbed version) has five divisions. The top rank is the Executive Militia (刑軍, keigun?), the second is the Patrol Corps (警邏隊, keiratai?), and the fifth division is called the Reversal Counter Force or Correctional Force (裏挺隊, riteitai?). The other two division names or functions are unknown. There is little information about the operations of the special forces.

The special forces are currently run by Captain Soifon of the Gotei 13's 2nd Division. She succeeded Yoruichi Shihouin, who departed Soul Society 100 years before the start of the Bleach storyline.

Ranks

The head of the special forces is called commander-in-chief (総司令官, sōshireikan?). The leaders of each on the five divisions are ranked as corps commander (軍団長, gundanchō?), the real-life equivalent being Lieutenant General. Although it is unknown how other ranks work in the special forces, like in Gotei 13, the leader of the forces generally also commands its top division, which is the Executive Militia, but unlike in the Gotei 13, the force commander has several bodyguards.

iirc because of Ichigos hair.. Kubo meant that everyone suggest that it is bleached(which makes Ichigo freak out), i hope i'm not wrong

Thats something people have been debating for ages wether he got it or not, he havent been able to talk with his zanpaktou yet so in my view he doesnt have a true shikai yet, but im guessing it will come very soon

He said his sword isn't sealed. So it's a full time released type like Ichigo. However, Although Shikai means first release. You could say Yes and No. Since it's released and could be heard by Ichigo & Zangetsu...thats a Yes. But since he can't hear it or use it's power's then it's NO.

So the answer is NO. He does not.
