No sequel. We don't even know of a sequel in the planning stages. Sad, but true.

HAIRMASTER
lol marin ;-)
But then, for sure, sakiyama kaori will be the hairmaster for sure. Thats just some crazy hairdo man...

I think the last episode is the worst of the whole series. I'll put my opinion in spoiler tags, just in case. If you've seen the last one, there will be no spoiler from here :-)
Spoiler:

sorry for the weird spelling, but hey. airmaster never was really serious...

pauuuwaa!!

The anime only covers part of the manga so of course there are lots of loose ends...

If you've seen the manga, could you tell me if a lot of chapters were skipped between episodes 26 and 27 because it felt really choppy. Suddenly at the end of episode 26 we saw scenes of all the strongest fighters fallen, defeated by an unknown foe. Did these battles actually happen in the manga?

I took another look and now I'm thinking the anime has pretty much caught up to the manga...I'm not sure if that stuff you mentioned really happened in the manga.
It lists 21 manga volumes at the Young Animal site, but looking at the description given, the stuff in volume 21 is pretty much the end of the anime as well.
They've gone through the volumes at a very high pace which I guess can be explained by the fact there's so much fighting.

P.s.
There's a flash Airmaster typing-game here:

(click the bottom (4th) blue line in the main window.)
