Wow, it's only been two years... Even though I was only around for a year and a half, it feels like this site was always here. Well what is there to say but happy birthday animesuki. If it wasn't for this site, I might actually have had a life. Then again probably not.
Hopefully this site will be around to kill my free time for years to come.

:Looks at GHDPro's joined date:
It looks like you were planning this for over a whole year before it went up, correct? I found the history quite intriging that your search for Star Trek Enterprise was responsible (accidentally) for the whole site, the forum, and the bit torrents of anime. However, it still bothers me that you were looking for Star Trek Enterprise. Not exactally the most conforting twist.... Spoiler for off-topic question:

Happy birthday Animesuki. I am proud to say that I think I am one of the first people that used this site and perhaps one of the oldest (not age wise) animesuki user.
I hope this site is kept up even if bittorrent goes down (another program perhaps?) and as always, thank you GHDPro for this service. |

Happy Birthday!
THANKYOU for having such a GREAT site. I just joined forums this month, but i've been using this site for the last 6 months [where has the time gone???].
This is BAR NONE the greatest anime info site on the net. I really appreciate how you link into anime databases (animeNfo, animeDB, etc.) and list the groups subbing and -- last but not least -- where the torrent files are. This is an awesome ONE STOP SHOP!!! [smile] -- And probably the reason why MFI sent you [G-man] a letter. Hopefully you an navigate the next to years as well as the last 2. I love this forum to no end and I want to see it go on forever. I mean, seriously, where else can you see Xris's "ban of death" and Dranz's "thread lock no jutsu"!! (*ducks and hides from "bad joke" mod's wrath*) hehe.
But seriously, even if the mods are a bit rough, their dilligence has made this one of the best forums to be on because its well ordered and within the limits of legality so as to keep things fun, honest, and interesting. |

Congrats on 2 years!! I'm kinda "late" getting here, but finally having a computer at home with internet, and being able to see all the latest anime is truly a luxury.
Happy to be here! Thank you for all the wonderful experiences i've had with all the anime i've seen because of the site! |

Congratulations on your 2nd year anniversary, and more years to come!
I was here since over 1 1/2 years, but I just got broadband only a few months ago. Even so, I visit AnimeSuki so that I would have info on the latest fansubs... and yea this forum is one of the best!

Congratulations, thank you and a happy birthday.
Congratulations to the mods for managing to keep the site up for so long and Asuki becoming what it is today. And a heartfelt thank you, for introducing a new medium of fun (Which bascially ruined my social life and made me an anti-social and crazed, young, hermit who's become drawn to the boards like Semeagol to the ring), and to the community, what better people to be influenced by? |

I could just imagine NoSanninWa coming by and closing this thread with a reply like "Since its no longer Animesuki's B-day this thread no longer serves a purpose. Thread closed" So while I still can Happy B-day Animesuki! (even if it is a day late) |
