I think that the island is just for Miina's dream, hence also for the sake of the other passengers on the same plane with her to live on as memory. While I don't think my thought about apocalypse (like in Shounen Ex) is really right but the island is indeed abandoned. I can't comprehend something like cloning people with fake memory up to when they were riding the plane home, make the whole setup for them to land on the freaking island, and let them be killed by dangerous animals on the island, then come out to tell them it's a reality show with real deaths to be someone's plan. Cloning theory is simply too unreal imo. |

Sometimes the journey is more entertaining then the destination. Even if the ending is stupid, the struggle for them to get here was pretty well done if you ask me so I won't look down on this manga too much if the ending is bad. Well a good ending certainly helps it as a whole, if the only thing you are interested in was the ending, then you certainly missed out on a lot of the fun

Yeah, I simply wish people would just think a bit about this retarded theory. I'm pretty sure the author would get hated mails from his fans if he pull shit like an omnipotent being cloned them, altered their memory to the point where they were on the flight back home, when the whole plane and passengers disappeared without trace thus dismiss all possibility that the cloning could have come true.

i guess they were cultivated in laboratories til they reached the same age as when they died.
But as i said, they'd need some sort of genetic tissue to reconstruct their memories of everything. But there are a million open questions like: how do they have their exact stuff they took on the plane initially? Why would they clone them and throw them randomly onto the island? What's up with Hades, he would have deserved atleast a 30 chapter arc or smth. |

That chapter went about as expected, bunch of information on the island was reveled and we know why it was created for sure now. I will agree though, if anything this makes the time travel idea seem to be more reasonable. If his mom is dead by the time actual cloning starts, I doubt that future scientists would have a reason to clone her dead son.
As everyone is saying though, this last chapter will probably leave a lot of questions unanswered unless of course its like a 100 page chapter then it might have a chance. Otherwise I see the ending basically being the group saying "well dam, we are in the future, time to repopulate or find a way to the main land and hope its not overrun by dinosaurs." Thinking the later one is more likely since if they are in the future they are still on Earth and I find it hard to believe humans went extinct in about 200 years.
