I plan to stay home alone, girlfriendless again this year while eating heart clogging chocolates and watch HBO.

Probably just send my gf some flowers to her work, and then go out for a meal in the evening. Get pissed then probably have an argument or something...

Regarding your other sardonic comment. Considering the topic is about Valentines Day, I’m typing specifically about what I plan to do on that particular day, since that’s what the original poster asked. This has nothing to do with what I plan to do on any other day, nor can I see how it is relevant.
That wasn't the part I quoted

Edit:

On a further note to Nightbat to conclude this dispute. Valentines Day is only a bit of fun, or at least for me. I don’t see it as the pinnacle day of love or anything like that but merely for what it represents. It’s like Christmas, it’s fun to celebrate it, or in this case, do something romantic. This doesn’t necessarily mean I won’t do something romantic any other day of the year, not at all, of course I will… All I was saying was, don't frown upon something like Valentines Day, but rather, single or not, like I said before, make the most of it.
Oh, don't get me wrong, more power to those
But I frown upon the concept that Valentine's day is "the" opportunity to
do something romantic
Forced spontaneousness isn't spontaneous at all
And unless you have a secret crush on someone, for a Single:
the 14th of februari is just another day

(which reminds me, tomorrow I gotta buy and get a rose delivered to a girl I
know )

The important thing this Valentine's is to love one another, whether it is your significant other, your friends, your family, etc.
At least what you can do is to be with the people you love and spend quality time together. I guess that is the true message of Valentine's, right?

Careful, you don't want a restraining order for Valentine's day.

Woo, I've been there, man.

That only happens when you break into her bedroom, lie and wait 'till she gets home
with that rose tied around your d...on't think that's such a good idea

I refuse to acknowledge the existence of Valentine's day, so... I'll see if it's possible to watch ALL of Monster in one day

I have school on Valentine's Day... I'll probably just be working out and eating at an Italian sub shop afterwards, like I do everyday. I toyed with the idea of having a girlfriend last year, but I still think everyone is too immature for a relationship and it isn't worth my time.

That's the thing with these threads...Ask a question where 50% of respondents are teenagers and the other 40% are young geeky adults without a life, and you'll bound to get pessimisstic remarks.

A few years ago I was too young and immature to expect to be in a productive relationship. Fast forward a few years and I'm just too busy. I'll get to experience my first true Valentine's Day when I'm 40 years old, own my own tech company, and impregnate countless 20-year-old women. Blame the winner-take-all nature of life

Let's see...I'll probably do the same thing I do every Valentine's Day: watch chick-flicks and eat chocolate! I might possibly get some kisses from my llamas as well.

But in reality I'll probably be spending most of the day working and/or at school and whatever free time I have will be spent listening to my girl friends complain and mope about not having boyfriends. I will be the one sitting there going, "there there, it's ok" and wondering when I can get back to my chickflicks and chocolate.

The person I'd like to spend the day with is too far away, but hopefully we'll at least have a nice talk.

For those without a lover dont give into "to busy" "not ready" "insecure". Those are just excuses that might have you miss the opertunity. If you want a relationship you have to work twords it. Destiny awaits all that work and wait for it.

That's the best joke I heard in years
Finding love has nothing to do with 'labour" and "Patience"
pure and utter "luck" is what you need,...well, that and a lot of lies
