That was a good first episode. For once I like all the main characters. The loli isn't an overbearing tsundere, she has a good personality balance. The main guy isn't your typical wuss pushover male lead; he can take care of business but isn't too prideful to thank the loli for her help and the fan service fodder attendant is cute. Glad to see they'll be reunited in the next ep, I was feeling bad for her lol
I'm glad I checked it out. I wrote a program that scans an FTP service every hour and downloads any new files; when I imported this one and pulled data from AniDB, it had no description. I figured screw it, lets roll the dice and see what it's like, going in with no idea what it's about hehe. |

The OP really feels like they took the "let's make this weird" feel from the title and ran with it! That was bizarre.
The episode itself was alright. I like the Princess. She's got good pep to her. Solid magical abilities and totally threatened to turn the Detective into an invalid if he wanted to kick her out . I mean fair enough. She's got to find a place to live and this person seems decent enough to stick around with. Female knight was fun. Kind of liked the good vibes she had with the homeless dude. Also says a lot about the hell she's been through lately that sleeping under cardboard under a bridge was the best night's rest she's gotten in a while. Honestly I think Sara and Sousuke are a good pair. Teamwork is pretty good and their personalities bounce off each other nicely.

I want to like this series but the cast is sort of lacking in charm and the "we have Hinamatsuri at home" vibe is kind of overwhelming. I might give it another episode or so but I'm quickly losing interest so we'll see.
