Another possibility people seem to be ignoring is that Hakuya's power inside Kobeni awakened a primal instinct, remember back when we were hunter/gatherers constantly on the move (before the advent of agriculture) you had to move with the pack, being left behind because you were too old or injured was a death sentence; so no matter how weak you felt you HAD to follow the pack, you might get better later on, but being left behind you would most likely die of thirst or starvation or be killed by other predators.

-------------- Anyways, great show, characters are likeable (Konoha being my favorite), pacing was superb (one of the best I've seen), and the artwork is very clean and stylish. Oh, let's not forget those very catchy OP and ED songs. I personally give this a 9/10. Great stuff!

What was there even to answer? The only real problem, if you can call it that, was that Kobeni was given a fiancee unexpectedly. The only thing to really address is how she is going to accept this, which is presented across these 12 episodes. Other than that, the show really doesn't define any other issues that were so important that they needed to be addressed; not that it really has to if it's a slice-of-life type of show.

Yeah, I think it's just a case of being disoriented and thinking she had more cliff than she actually did. Kobeni is the one who always had to stay behind on trips after all because of her health. Plus didn't have the same viewpoint of the viewers so even less likely to realize she was already on the edge. Sure they did it so Hakuya could save her, but for someone who is waking up somewhere dark and cold she just stumbled backwards enough for it to make a difference.
And yeah we are talking about the girl who fell over just after hearing Konoha propose to Hakuya. Her lack of athletic ability is already legendary enough to make that excusable in normal circumstances .

About that cliff, it's not like she fell down the cliff, but rather that this "cliff" was actually composed of snow and broke away under her.

I'm not sure she even realized she was near a cliff before the edge broke. She just woke up from a fever, it was night, and it was snowing.
Also, I wouldn't say she was walking backwards so much as moving around to get a better view of where she was. Because she wasn't really thinking clearly yet, the couple of steps she took to do that happened to be in an unsafe direction.

Flower is talking about the Hotsprings one I believe, it was the newest release from the site I watch on.
So...Benio managed to keep up with Mashiro during their frenzy in the forest...I guess she's one of them afterall? |

Have to say I think Benio wins the character songs war. Just titles like "Eternal my Sister" and "Good Smell" says it all . The songs of a criminal.
Kobeni's songs were ok. Obviously the one we had in the last episode and also another one that was pretty solid. Mashiro's songs are pretty fun . Naturally for her it's all about the food. Basically just Mashiro being adorable in song form .

Flower is correct -- there are two Mikakunin OVAs. The latter one gives us gems like these for example:
(Benio eating a leaf. You got it, a LEAF.) (Godiva's are off limits!) And Benio has one heck of a photo collection, even as a grade schooler: Pretty much background for Nadeshiko, Benio, and Kobeni, as well as Hakuya and Mashiro's hometown.

Well, I have not had the chance to see the one about the background material of the characters, but I did see the Hot Springs one and also wonder how much I am supposed to take Benio keeping up with Mashiro as humor as as "real life". If the latter than it definitely is proof that there is something out of the ordinary about Benio.... (I mean more than just her personality, of course )
