I finished watching the entire franchise, and what a ride that was! I haven't had this much fun watching an anime in a long time. The story is really not the best, but the series makes up for it with amazing over the top action, lovable heroines, awesome seiyuus, great songs (the Tsubasa x Maria concerts were incredible, too bad they always end up in a bloodbath), hot bloodedness, and crazy antagonists. Also, lesbians. They're all super gay, except maybe Chris... maybe.
I regret not getting into this sooner. Discussions must have been fun. I bet Kirika's transformation sequence in this season caused quite the uproar  I'm sad this is apparently over. It would be interesting to have a season with Hibiki and Miku as an actual couple. Actually, it probably wouldn't really change much, would it? They've been acting like a married couple since S1. As far as possible threats go, there are still the custodians. Speaking of which, Finé's explanation for her actions in S1 really doesn't match up with what we found out in this season, did it? We can theorize she was unaware of Shem-ha's existence or at least the threat she posed to humanity, but even then, there are holes. I thought we'd get a flashback with her, but nope. If anyone wonders, my favorite character was Chris. I love her design and it feels like she was the character who received the most development over the course of the series. With those EDs focused on her, I was always afraid she would die.

I thought they might have been going for Shem-ha's humanity linking bringing together enough Fine descendants to have Fine pop back up to hold Shem-ha down for the kill or something but it was not to be. |

Well these are two franchises I kind of wish would have a more full scale crossover. Be a fun thing to check out.
Not bad looking pairs overall. Fate and Tsubasa was a given of course and good fun can be had there. Although it does feel less like gear variants than the Symphogear cast literally just being thrown into Nanoha style outfits without their gears at all. And kind of a downer that Chris was booted out of a possible original trio situation and replaced with Miku. Cool to see anyways. Even if it is just for a version of a game I'll never play...
