It happened so suddenly: Rin broke the wall and fired her cannon instantly (notice everyone's stunned expression).

Disregarding the fact that such kind of attack will kill at least half the student in one swoop. (it's overpressure weapon, and inside a room pretty much overkill)

Hmm, I don't think there's any major country that is fully monarch. The closest thing I can compare would be our neighbor Malaysian, with Governor of states being called "Maharaja" which mean King. Though there's also Saudi Arabia.

In Sacred Twins at least, she's one.

More like status symbol than anything. As we all knew Britain has a lot of prince, so did Malaysian. Doesn't meant the title are worthless, but they don't really have leadership values most of the time. This is why Britanian Princes also serves in armed force, so they have a direct semblance to real authority.
