Mao's face could easily become the next Despair Peace at this rate.

GJ Bu 09 - GJGJ Mikos

An ending sticks around for more than two episodes? Wasn't expecting that. Again, I cannot reiterate how much I love Mao in this series. Maaya Uchida brings a lot to the role, completely different from her work as Reirei. Seeing Mao confuse her "Ma-chan" and normal identities was a good start to the episode. Never thought I'd see Kyoro playing doctor, though it never got that far. Not that anyone would risk their lives like that with Kirara. She's got a grip that can crush plastic. The things people learn in Canada. It wouldn't be a Hiro Shimono role without crossdressing somewhere, and Kyoroko provides that role. The hair brushing competition was mostly made fun by Uchida's great announcer voice, and the final segment - with Kirara turning into a spirit detector, very quickly went to the subject of sacrifice. Seeing the girls in Miko outfits was pretty cute. The show's got a good sense of pacing going for it, and though some segments ran longer than I expected, there was a nice variety of stories too. I just want to hear more of Uchida's Mao voice.

GJ-bu 09

Doctor segment went on bit longer than expected. The crossdressing part was really short.

Mori showing up was fun, and once again, Kyoro's hairbrushing takes another down.
We learn that Tama is a miko this episode, cool info.

The aftercredits scene was pretty great even though it was only seconds long. The way Tama adds in a last second kya was great timing.

Oh man Kyoroko was quite cute. Even Mori-san lost to the hair brushing.

Oh god what have they done to you Kyoro

I think the most interesting and unexpected part was when he revealed that he doesn't like to express his anger because he would get into fights- Now THAT is very intriguing

The rest of it was usual fair and kind of a hit and miss.

Oh and it seems, Tama has an Otouto...

Chaos-kun ga ki ni natta. *old man announcer voice*

... Every new episode of GJ-bu always makes my facial muscles weary because I cannot stop grinning.

This week, Kyoroko and Mori-san getting the brush. Next week looks like another fearsome part of Kyoro surfaces - the handkerchief!!

Her surname is Mori (森), which I think you would have known.

To be fair to him, he does share a resemblance with Kasumi in his crossdressed appearance.
