Er, just to clarify, it's right as in, it's supposed to be the F octave on 15 and 18? Or is it supposed to be F# on 16 and 19 and I messed up my GTP somehow? For some reason it didn't sound right to me.

It's supposed to 15 and 18. If it doesn't sound right, you can always change it to what you want to play. The official score doesn't make it 100% official. Even bands that cover songs play the songs differently to suit their styles.

For me, I do it like palm mute, but put palm higher than normal.
I'm not get used to do it with left hand, since some chords(especially with fast temple) are nearly impossible for this method. I have trouble with playing "Lovely sister love", it doesn't sound very clean. Do you have any advise for this?

I'm pretty sure left-hand dead notes are necessary to really get that sounds. Which chords do you have trouble muting with?

For dead strings I raise my left hand a bit..I only palm mute if the tab says so or...it sounds like "chug-chug"...dead strings sounds like "chak-chak" XD

I think I should find an acoustic one, my EG doesn't too cooperate with some genre of music.
To think back, K-on live, the guy who played Azusa part even gave up on his Gibson SG. He used acoustic guitar on "Lovely sister love".

In situations like that I usually just dead note on the group of strings where my fingers are (e.g. for a G chord I would use the E and A and just lift my fingers a bit). Sometimes you need to put additional fingers on to make sure you don't produce harmonics you don't want, yeah.

I'm sure someone's made an acoustic effect for an electric guitar, but I don't think it would really sound right unless it was quite high-end. Getting a decent beginner's acoustic is always a good investment.

So, this sounds like a completely noob question coming from me, but are there any K-On songs that mainly contain the chords D, G, and A7? I'm asking this because my guitar teacher asked me to find a song I liked that contained those chords.

EDIT: Not just songs, BGMs from the series would be fine too.

wow, cool..... uhm, on the list, how about tabbing the ones which has no official tabs, or has not been tabbed yet. (though i don't think some of these songs don't have a guitar in it, like hello little girl and sunday siesta). but i'm interested to find out. do they have guitar in it?


oh, and tabbing happy end would be nice too, but does the sheet music even exist?

(well, unless i fix my video editing problem, i can't do any cover, so i think i'll just learn some new songs)
