In episode 9 gg sub, Kanbaru said that she gave bloomers to Nadeko. I felt it was strange because Kanbaru shouldn't know Nadeko before. So when did she give them to her? Did anime miss something in the novel or not?

The answer is in the main part of the conversation between Kanbaru and Araragi when they went to the shrine first time, which was totally ignored by the anime. Kanbaru initially thought that it was a date with Araragi and she was so excited. Please look at her clothes and a lunch box she prepared.

So Araragi called Kanbaru, and then both of them, respectively, reported it to Senjogahara.

No, Araragi told Senjougahara that he is going to take Kanbaru before he told Kanbaru. It was never Senjougahara's choice. When Araragi talked to Senjougahara he was only warning her that he and Kanbaru is going to be together for the day.

The phoenix has been part of her from before she was even born. The phoenix has been playing the part of a little sister in order not to be detected. Koyomi had to come to terms with the fact that Tsukihi wasn't really his sister.

Put aside those humor scenes, Kanbaru is described as an upright personality in the novel who will say what should be said but not what she wants to say (it's Araragi's words). At the same time, she is thoughtful. For example, Kanbaru deliberately made a fuss in Araragi's room (including the porn magazines scene) for the purpose of making Sengoku relaxed. Probably this is related to her experience as a club captain who should be a leader of team members.

Furthermore, she will be decisive when it matters, which I think we will see in the next episode.

The bakemonogatari anime is closely following the original novel. Nonetheless, the anime directors omit some parts of the novel selectively. They might have their own principles of the selection, but I cannot help think that Kanbaru as a character does not profit from being animated.

We don't get to see what happened during Golden Week when Hanekawa's cat first came out, only the rough details. The two of them found a dead cat and her family problems allowed the Kaii to appear. "Black Hanekawa" allowed her to relieve stress by rampaging.
