So, lots of people hated Episode 3 of Season Two (seems like I always end up liking the episodes the mainstream K-On fans disprove of), but I love it for Mio's confession alone. It just says so much about her:

"Being the group's support... And it's fun to come up with bass lines to accompany everyone else's part. Not too showy, but not completely buried under other sounds: I've always wanted to be bassist like that."

Hm... not too showy (humility)? Yet don't want to be buried (independence)? Win. Win. Win. <3
