More like, she is saving her from falling to the ground instead...
(Had she fall , who knew which part will be hit...) At least Teru is not a heartless monster at all... Though what happen after that is she take Toki away. Omochikaeri~. (Since they are also related as Teru's VA voice a sickly girl too, like Toki...)

Wow... Teru and Toki acting all lovey dowey...
Teru looks really gallant in that picture... sigh Too bad this isn't what happened in the vanguard match... sigh ... Teru x Toki looks so romantic... Maybe I should change my OTP ... (willpower faltering) Must resist the lure of the dark side... ...... (emergency procedure ) Browse collection of Achiga-hen pictures (made up almost entirely Toki x Ryuuka) ..... Willpower restored. Still a Toki x Ryuuka fan. Sorry Teru-sama you'll just have to make do with your ridiculously large harem in your school. Spoiler for Teru's harem:
Anyway since were talking about alternate scenarios ... what do you think of this picture? Spoiler for What if?:

Miyanaga sisters in the same school on the same team. All the other schools won't have a chance. Even if Teru time gets stopped in the first match. Saki is right there to finish things off at the end.

So listening Kuro and Yuu's character, and I love there songs too ; Both their versions of Magical Mahjong World is just adorable. While Arata's songs felt in character, but not as cute and slightly more serious .

Now, this is deliciously hot. XD
[mod edit: image removed due to being too NSFW] So. Can anyone find an image of greater resolution?

That's actually part of an Achiga parody series done by mikage_takashi (NSFW ads), who does episode paradies for mostly yuri series (I think). He also did a bunch for the original Saki series which were fairly popular...I believe all of them were translated on danbooru, and it looks like the Achiga ones are beginning to get translated as well, so you can probably watch that page (or the specific Achiga-hen pool) for full translations eventually.
As far as I can make out, this particular comic is a parody of one of the scenes in episode 1. Shizu/Ako are talking about the "legendary team" from Achiga who were the only team in 40 years to break the hold of Bansei highschool over Nara prefecture (that's the shadowed figures in panel 1). Incidentally, the silhouettes in panel one are a reference to the characters of Smile Precure, which is a great series, btw. Shizu goes on to talk about the legend who was at the heart of that team, who is supposed to be Akado. However, the person actually shown in the picture is Prime Minister Koizumi, the main character from The Legend of Koizumi, another epic mahjong manga. In the bottom panel Ako mentions Koizumi's signature move "Rising Sun", which is a thirteen orphans yakuman, and Shizu also comments that his "The Luck of the Cosmos" was 'the best', which was a 72 dora (lol) move Koizumi used during the climax of one of the major battles in the story. In Nodoka's various panels, she's basically resisting the urge to tsukkomi, but she also throws out one of her signature phrases "sonna occult ariemasen" (i.e. 'Such an occult thing is impossible', often shortened to "SOA" on japanese imageboards). |

Thanks a lot for the info! 72 Dora does sound pretty cool, lol. In my mind, I imagine Koizumi retiring from his role in Legend of Koizumi, and passing the touch on to the Miyanaga Sisters. That would be neat too!

But if he pass the torch to the Miyanaga Sisters, wouldn't it be a hell of a RISING SUN to play against them?

4x4 +1 = 17 doras, this could happen twice so 34 doras.... that leaves 2 dora indicators for the last 5, so 2x4 +1 = 43 doras where did the other 29 doras come from?

I have a feeling something similar to this is actually happening in-universe, given the suspicious shift in tournament rules for the year's Inter-High tourney. Like Fujita said, it's like they're looking for particularly lucky kids on purpose this time around...
