Hm, looking for the name of this anime, I think it came out last year. I don't remember the exact plot, but it involved an academy of students that had powers. The MC and his sister attend this academy; however, he is considered a low rank but when he fights 1 of the student council members, he totally beats him. He's actually really strong, it just so happens that school test or whatever doesn't test practical scores...something like that. He uses this epic pistol and he is secretly the top engineer of a weapons company or somewhere around those lines. Also, I remember an episode where the MC has another 2 members and they face off in an arena against another school's team. Also, he tends to protect his sister every now and then who, if I remember correctly, has a crush on him. He also has this power to speed up healing of his body.
