Aside from the meta perspective (can't end the manga yet!), why would a new batch of witches come up anyway, especially with the wish made? Or did the wish itself twist the intent behind it?

That could be why there are new witch powers. His wish removed the current witch powers from the school but created new ones to take the place of the old ones. for some reason there probably needs to be witch powers.

Sorry for the double post

He did managed to kissed her. I kinda feel sorry for Urara. Caused they never went for an official date and there goes Yamada dating other women and even kisses have been exchange.

Maybe it's the same but has different rules?

Submission is fundamentally similar to charm in it's foundation, but it has different rules.

Maybe all the powers are different versions of the old powers. Same basic effect but with different rules.

We never knows who the girl from that time is and it's not Odagiri so it's got to be an unknown girl.

She might be a normal girl who went rebellious following Yamada.

I like your guess. If it's some long forgotten childhood friend I'll rage. I hate that overused trope. However that seems unlikely as I doubt that will fit well in the atmosphere of the Yamada universe. It's too comedic to have something that dramatic.

Uhh your wrong there the girl yamada and his buddies saved was odagiri that's heavily implied during that whole situation and that's also how come he followed her like a blind monkey its likely a childhood friend
