Technically ANY pairing, including NS and NH would end the war... though NarutoXKarin would deny the NS and NH fandom the-oh-so coveted "bragging rights"

as far as I know... the only ones who knew that Hinata likes naruto is Kurenai,Shino,Kiba and sakura.....

I dont know with shino though...

I think the reason why hinata confessed during the pain Arc is because she thought she was going to die in there and she needs to say to naruto her feelings before she dies.... but she did not... ^_^

I dunno...that Kushina and Minato flashback...whenever it was...reminded me a lot of Naruto and Sasuke's relationship way back when they little; the initial dislike and rivalry and all that I guess. But they did kind of like eachother and then Kushina and Minato fell in love~

Doylist Answer: Because no one, including Kishimoto, is stupid enough to destroy a sizable portion of their fanbase. It's why Hinata's confession never went anywhere. It's why Sakura's confession is what it was. If we're going to see a canon pairing, it'll be in an epiolgue. Until then, Kishimoto is just screwing with us, and there isn't an Watsonian answer.

Sai x Ino is crack. It was a joke panel four years ago in the manga. And then never mentioned again. It's dead. Not that it was ever alive. And yes he really was calling her ugly since Sai is not attracted to anyone. I know everyone thinks he is gay, but he comes off more as asexual. Ino was made fun of and didn't even know.

Ino won't end up with anyone. I use to think she would learn to look beyond appearances and love Choji, but that is not happening.

I am still surprised how hugely popular Shikamaru x Ino is.

Ino still crying over Sasuke proves she'll never love Choji. He'll never be attractive enough for her. Ino would rather become an old cat lady than date a fat guy.

Sai will find a cute ANBU boy and marry.

Never got why so many still want Shika and Ino together with Temari around. I guess for the same reason people like Kiba x Hinata or Neji x Tenten. And it's better than Shika x Shiho or Ino x someone not named Choji.

Amen. This is ridiculous. Why aren't we sitting here talking about Sakura and Hinata getting stronger instead of who they will be with. For goodness sake. Sakura is the heroine and Hinata is good enough to be the heroine shouldn't they be fighting instead of going "Oh Naruto!" Then you're reading the wrong manga. Remember who is writing it. Sakura had one brief moment where she rose above pairing fodder in the Sasori fight. Funny how fans started to like her then. Other than that she exists to make babies with either Naruto or Sasuke.

Hinata? She lives for Naruto. She has no other purpose. Even her wanting to get stronger is for Naruto. All girls in this manga are pairing fodder. Remember what Kurenai's dad told her. The most important thing a woman can do is give birth to the next generation.
