I quite like the opening .

Not much from the mecha so far, but it looks like they're traditionally hand-drawn rather than CG...

I get the feeling that I'm going to really like Ayako Kawasumi's character, for one reason or another .

I'm betting, at least going off the original key visual, that there'll be just a normal love triangle at the center of the show's romance rather than a harem... though that said, I wouldn't mind Miyuki Sawashiro's character falling for Keiichi, or someone, if it means getting some incredible Sawashiro Dere scenes .

This one is getting too little attention. A politically-themed mecha show written by Satou Dai is a matter for serious consideration.

^Yes, the concept art was what sold me on this show. The costume designs are pretty neat (well, the ones that aren't about showing off T&A, anyway), but if the mechs/art is anything like the concept art it's going to look really really nice.

I'm in it for the mecha and romance, and while there's probably going to be some political undertones, I hope they're not that prevalent .

Shame it's only going to be one-cour, but hopefully that leads to a concise and well-animated series .

And yeah, that's some pretty nice concept art .

Given the premise and the writer, there are going to be political undertones for sure.

Spoiler for Episode 1:

I really wanted to like this show as I've been a fan of historical dramas with a mostly female cast and The Ambition of Oda Nobuna is a favorite of mine. Too bad the first episode was way too dim-witted and full of perverted antics that aren't even worth a laugh. The animation was horrible, there's too much still images with effects and not enough real animation. I do admit that Kiriko is very good and has the potential to be a three-dimensional character personality-wise, too bad Keichirou is full of stupidity and don't get me started with his equally as idiotic friend. The only good things about this anime so far was the opening theme (which indicates on what to come later) and the fact that the mecha designs, while not too good-looking, were at least fascinating to watch. I want to give few more episodes to see how it goes (Chiharu the foxgirl comes to mind and I'm going to totally love her) but if it's just as unfunny as episode one, it's time to drop it since I don't do that way much and I'd rather continue watching Daimidaler the Sound Robot, since that show tries to be intentionally silly that made me enjoy it.

WB promised since its first episode something the show was never able to deliver.

Here so far we have a bizarre mix of mecha, ecchi and slightly above average animated scenes (sexy chara designs btw) . However the main point was the mecha fighting which is yet to be seen the next episode.

Not the best I've seen so far this season but not as base the call it the worse to compare it with WB11.

Hope the next episode does better because Thursday's King is No Game No Life which iss over the top in every single aspect. Don't want this show to be wasted potential.

From what I gathered, it's not airing on AT-X and will unfortunately remain censored until the Blu-rays come out.

Why the hell there are a lot of mechas this season? Why is the picture keep shaking? It makes me dizzy, damnit. Another mecha that is influenced by sengoku era like nobunaga the fools, eh? The first episode is not good, honestly, with the shaking and the characters movement isn't smooth like real anime. Really, jc staff? I'm skipping this, just like I skip Nobunaga the Fools, both looks stupid.
