What's sealing the deal for me is Jun Fukuyama as the male lead. He's bloody hilarious when he takes on roles like this (case in point: Inukami!)

Since the concept sounded interesting I picked up the 1st volume my reactions while reading it went something like this even though I haven't finished it.

Spoiler for Vol 1:

It went from "Holy Shit the art is by the chick who did Shuffle!" to "( -_-)" to "Why is Melon's hair yellow?" to "I'm thirsty" to "This is pretty good though I feel pathetic reading it" to "I'm going to go cry in the corner"

Well I'm planning on finishing vol 1 sometime before the anime airs.

Also why the fuck did they pick Noto Mamiko to voice Yell?

okay, that is making me unhappy

Suzuhira Hiro draws her characters well in the novel, although, the CG for this anime will not be her w/c is kind of a turn down.

Well I have to say the best part of vol 1 is the art... and also the fact that Hiro drew some "Adult Pics" of Melon and Yell that were available on her website for a short amount of time.

The anime features a blond girl in a bikini implying that it will take place on the beach in the summer. The lead protagonist is voiced by Fukuyama Jun, the same seiyuu who voiced Lelouch Lamperouge of Code Geass R2. Let me guess, it will be another romantic comedy?

hmmm not quite...
the setting is not really on a beach, they did Melon, the blonde girls name, in a bikini for advertising purposes i assume.

shes holding the can of juice/soda because of the plot of the manga/anime
and about the rom-com part i think you are correct, correct me if im wrong

I love how they designed the website and so far the character designs are looking pretty good.

I'm really happy with the way they've take Suzuhira's designs. Meaning to say, the transition of the original art is really good. I don't see any real difference.

Also Jun Fukuyama NOW!? God he makes everything alittle more awesome.
