Patch seems to work fine with the demo, though reloading my game from the first patch caused problems.

Are the chapters from the original patch changed? I know there was some talk of editting to make them sound more natural, but...

Yes, there is some edits in the first 2 chapters, but they are really minimal, so you can start off from chapter 2.
That said, if you believe you forgot or don't feel the mood without refreshing your memories, it would be far more enjoyable to read back the start (though I guess a faster reading speed or CTRL use might help to fight the "deja vu").

I actually have to restart because of the save issue. Hope that doesn't repeat itself in future patches.@_@

That is unfortunately not possible to fix. Thanks to remind us about it, I should add that to the FAQ.

Currently, the save problem is that if you save on a location that the text in its backlog doesn't match with the current translation patch, the game will begin to act very weird, especially if you saved on a non translated part.
As result, I would suggest several save states in case of. Of course, this will be irrelevant once episode 1 is fully translated.

Some thoughts/suggestions:

The word "Aunt" seems to always be capitalized for some reason.>_>

Instead of saying stuff like "oji-san" or what-not, wouldn't it make more sense to use a term non-Japanese speakers understand, such as "uncle"? That's what the Sonozaki twins do, I think.

Just reporting to say that the patch runs perfectly under Linux with the latest onscripter SVN version. Kudos and keep up the good work

Indeed, this has been corrected for the full patch, but the edit wasn't in the 0-9.
Note that, however, "the Master" and "Father" are capitalized, and for good reasons (using honorifics with these are clumsy beyond words).

Considering the niche public of such kind of games and universe, we assumed that people had at least sufficient basic anime/manga knowledge to understand that. We also added footnotes for such cases.

The main reason why we kept this way, instead of using "uncle" and what not is the fact that we wished to keep the most faithful to the original material, and using some honorifics but not the others would be quite weird. (The use of "brother" in english is very very rare, and it wouldn't exactly make sense to see Eva saying all the time "brother krauss". So using nii-san, but "uncle" right after doesn't go well in consistency)

Glad to see it is still working for you. Don't hesitate to list up any glitches though.
Speaking of which, I'm going to list up these for the next FAQ.

currently we got (all of them are present due to Onscripter "limits"):
-Game freezing whenever you try to use CTRL when the screen shakes
-Red highlighted buttons stay red until you hover the mouse cursor on these
-Missing effects (Rain, distorsion, bubble warp. Can only be fixed in the...(far) future)
-loading a save state that includes non translated or old translated portions in its backlog will lead to unexpected events (can be fixed in the end)

About the game, is "Delsney Land" an actual park or parody of "Disney Land", or was it actually supposed to be "Disney Land"?O_o

Tokyo Disneyland would make sense, since it opened in 1983. I'd guess parody due to copyrights.

Would just mentioning it really be in danger of copyright infringement?O_O I'd have thought that would fall under fair use. I mean, you can't be charged for just mentioning someone on a tv show, can you?O_o

The katakana were デルゼニーランド. There's no real issue of copyright about Disney, it's just tongue in cheek.

There isn't exactly any clear reason why Ryukishi used such references as parodies.
Considering it is a doujin (and the fact he didn't hesitate to use real life reference in Higurashi), I'm unsure if there is really copyright infringment in such case.

That said, we tried to keep the references as faithful as possible compared to the original text and gives a mention in the footnotes.

Actually we didn't say anything about デルゼニーランド in the footnotes

Also good news and bad news... The good news is I got Ep 3.... The bad news is there's a bunch of new effects that will fuck ONscripter up
