I LOVED Blood + and am desperately seeking another show like it. It was the perfect anime for me: tons of drama, action and romance (saya and haji forever!!!!!!!)

Really, i'm looking for any series that has romantic development between two main protagonists with drama and action/adventure. not a big fan of comedy or girly-themes. i like a lot of serious drama

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Blood: The Last Vampire the anime movie Blood+ has been based on.

Few animes come to my mind one . They would be Tokko, Ga Rei Zero, Phantom and Kuro Kami . Though none of them deal with Vampires but Tokko Gai Rei and Kuro Kami deal with supernatural .

* Phantom : the romance in it reminded me of HajiXSaya this too has a strong female heroine . Her character has quite some similar traits to Saya . But Katanas are replaced with Guns .

* KuroKami : The setting is Dark and similar to Blood/Gai Rei though the execution leaves lot to be desired .

Claymore? Has about the same amount of romance as blood + in though so I wouldn't consider it a romantic anime as such.

Hi,

In terms of "feel" I think Fullmetal Alchemist (including the new FMA "Brotherhood") and D.Gray-man come really close to Blood+. Lets try them out and see if you like them.

You may also want to check out Ergo Proxy.
