Dang, I loved this series since it came out a few years back. Nice start for the series, still can't get over Yamada's hair color after all this time. XD
And just like in the Live Action...The Voice actors are so talented in expressing so many different personalities. XD

I didn't expect someone else to find out their secret in just episode 1. Well, they got to be lucky that the third person is not someone with bad intention. Then I realized the anime comes with the name seven witches which means there are going to be many more to come. Things escalate so fast lol.

And I beg to differ. The 2nd part wasn't bad; it didn't go downhill in my book; it just wasn't as good as the 1st part in terms of 'refreshingness'. The first part was faster pace, the second part gives more focus to characters and it seems a little draggier and more 'meandering'. But if you go through the chapters carefully, you can still see 'links' of the plot that pan out across the chapters. In this respect I would say it's no worse than Fairy Tail, and in the respect of 'dragginess', it's 100x better than Nisekoi imo. I do also have some gripes about certain development, but I can understand why. At any rate, we should continue this discussion in the manga thread. |

Nope still don't think Hayami is the one for 'normal' Shiraishi. Don't get me wrong, she's a perfect fit for her other main roles this cour in Seraph and Oregairu, and I think she did a great job as Yamada-in-Shiraishi's-body. But Hayami was the last voice I imagined while reading the manga as a bookish, reserved, anti-social girl. XD
Oh well, I'll wait until Asuka (<3) is shown before I drop this.

Yamada is seriously funny, lol Tho some ppls are right, the "first part" of the series is the good one. (basically season 1) And the "second part" kinda become boring. (basically season 2) Last edited by chaos_animagic; 2015-04-17 at 12:31. |

Having not read any of the manga, let me just say this:
I've watched the first episode about 4-5 times now. I thought it was fun, and I'll be following the show for the rest of the season. Also, I really like the OP. It all flows together for me: the composition, the art, and the song. It's something greater than the sum of its parts. The best part of the up is towards the end, when Yamada grabs Shiraishi's hat, and she shyly tugs the brim down and they kiss. Brought a smile to my face, that was so cute. Spoiler for My Speculations based on the opening:

Episode 2:
I think I lost the # of kisses this episode. This show already surpassed (in quantity) any other series' this season/year in that number most likely lol. Not sure how I feel about Ito though this episode. She does bring in a lot of energy into this series though and some of her personality reminds me of Haruhi.
