I think they could have either kept synthesized or progressed a little quicker Allen's discussion with Bak to allow him enter where Fou was fighting.

Yes, the one fighting the Akuma is Fou taking Allen's form.

At least, this episode was not a full, pit stop like the last one:

1. Unlike the manga, there was a brief sequence in-between when Allen-Fou was fighting the Akuma.

2. Allen blackmailed Bak that if the latter wouldn't allow him to go, then he'll tell Komui that the latter has been stalking Lenalee with the photos.


- Feel Komui's toothdrill of doom as punishment for stalking our Lenalee-chan

This episode ends with another fantastic cliffhanger, as Allen enters the battlefield and faces the Akuma one-on-one with eye glowing in creepy fashion.

Whew, that's good. I was really worry that they'll drag out the episodes...

...Well in this case, next week would be the golden episode !

Well, even though some of us as spoiled already, this episode is suppose to reveal what Allen is missing...

And this is the part where allen goes super saiyan on that guy's ass!

I can't wait another week

Whilst the episode was somewhat dragged out - especially during the mid points where we actually recieved some comedy (a la blackmail with bak's secret ) - on the whole it wasn't that bad.

Though it felt like a hammer fell down on my chest seeing fou go to the other side of the wall and getting her ass kicked...not to mention her "bye bye bak" line

Allen's eye changed for a bit then returned to normal, but now it looks like it is finally under his control again. GO ALLEN!

Poor Fou. She looked terrible early on then has to fight a level 3 in that condition. Plus her state is really bad near the end of the episode . I hope she will be alright. Was a pretty sad scene with her walking to her apparent doom and Allen's cry of "Fou!"

Those level 3's are really getting on my nerves. First Lenalee and now Fou . Where will this madness end?

But damn Allen is back. Couldn't just leave Fou to die after all. Guess an attack on his life was a good spark to get him going. Should be one hell of a fight with his innocence back and ready. Will need to be a good upgrade considering the damage those level 3's can dish out.

Fou has been an interesting tsundere character and a sexy lady at the same time.
But one of her best assets is her care and sisterly concern for Allen to pull him out from the pit of sulkiness.

She certainly is one of the more intriguing characters in D.Gray-Man, and being a Tsundere really helps to boot. XD

Here's hoping for Fou's survival. Really wasn't sure how I'd feel when we first ran into her. But she really has grown on me so it would suck badly if she didn't pull through. Long as she is still there hope remains. Just have to wait and see.

1. So in case you haven't figured out yet, the reason why people called this Akuma "Thread" is because of his ability to break down matters with his threads.





2. I like this scene; Bak warned Rikei to becareful while carrying Allen, for just the slightest impact could shattered him...

3. You have NO IDEA how badly I want to say that it was Fou with those weapon and not Allen last week ... I really wanted to see the reaction when you find out...

4. Another funny moment when Allen pointed out Bak's rash, and blackmail him with his secrets

"Heh, I can't even guarantee that you'll live... >.>"

5. And FINAL-freaking-LY, the truth that Allen realized about himself;

He is desires Akuma.

Not to save their souls, but just to be around them... That is the 'love' which was missing.

As he said, the moment when he saw that Akuma, he felt alive.

"Let me go, to where the Akumas are!"

I thought the last part was awesome.

I couldn't make it out in the manga, but it seems that Allen absorbed the Innocence. This was proven when he 'hurt' the Akuma by simply touching it.


(One of the coolest moment when Allen surprised the Akuma, and it's eyes opened...)


And at the end when Allen shows up to save Fou...

As Much as I had an inkling of that, as it was what Allen's Innocence was seeking along with himself, the way you say it sounds kind of......odd, when you say 'love'.
