oh hell yeah, the story gets better and better,
the duche came back and saves the day,
the bad guy lost because yami was his natural enemy,
aster had some awesone one-liners,
and most of all, yami is simply awesome

the art also got me hooked exspecially the page with the gaint mirror, it really looks awesome, i only dont understand what made the healer think that mirror-boys injuries are strange, yes, they didnt hit any vitals, maybe forshadowing for mirror-boy being a spy? :O

yami is as AWEEEEEEESOME! as ever, no, he gets better and better
and light-dude really only lost because he was in a BIG disadvantage, his natural enemys fought against him, he couldnt win
either way,
3 overpowered people showed up
first dude has a copy-power which seems to recreate any element he ever saw, already overpowered since no elemental advantage will be possible with him
second one is a Ki-user too :O and he seems to be equal to yami in close-comba fights
third is a ordinary flame-element user BUT she has a elemental-spirit too like yuno with his wind-fairy, and it isnt even fully developed :O

and before yami gets killed three more captains show up, plant-girl, liquid-metal-guy and someone unknown

unfortunatly aster didnt do much and i miss yuno

I used to not like this series due to the standard shonen plot
but what is this....
The fight quality keep on better and better and
now I could say it is on par or better than some top manga in Jump in term of Fighting scene

That last 2-3 chapter is awesome enough
and this chapter too really nail it

1 vs 1 in some arena or close area?

I am reading several chapters in this manga and it seem the MC is chick magnet aka Harem protagonist right?

Both of them are good friend
They're strong in their own ways

they do not have a dark past and just bring an orphan
they look like Olga and Mika from Gundam Iron Blood too me
but more of a friendly rival in job

The friend is already establish as a genius with powerful spell capability
a kuudere kind of guy that really acknowledge the MC who has "noting" a muscle brain idiot
as his rival and always believe in him

exspecially the plant-captain XD didnt expect she was one of the girls who fall for men XD XD

and the strategy of yami was really good asters anti-magic is a real pain to deal with

PS: does anyone know how the villians want to take asters grimoire? we saw with the ice-villian that killing the mag will cause their grimoire to get destroyed too, if they kill aster his book should also get destroyed :/
or maybe it is a special one which exists even after its original user died?

dont worry, the harem is pretty much only for comedy (for now), this harem-stuff does not have any real significants
and, no, aster and yunos relationship is like that of two close friends acknowledging each other as rivals and always undermining themselfes,
if aster makes something in front of yuno, yuno will feel inferior and give his best to catch up (in a positive way) and vice versa
it is a healthy rivality which is not really often seen in shounen, it is either some BS-obession thing (where both sides are equally obsessed with "being strongesr than the other one")or a one-sided-cr*p (naruto has this)

it is now stated, Licht isnt the real leader but only a high general
and asters gimoire and swords are somehow connected to the leader, furthermore, his first sword is named "magic erasure sword" and the second is "magic absorbion sword", seems interesting

and it is revealed that Licht actually kept most of his power sealed, mostlikely because of a use later
the other 3 also got revealed to be holding back, seems like the top-tiers of the evil-organization are above the captains of the lover kingdom
and two of asters harem revealed had a short screentime

such easygoing behavior but with the occasional seriousness of a kakashi or eraserhead is simply awesome

asters magic really looks like a cheat now the sorcery emporer himself was not able to crack the firewall in the villians minds but aster tabs them a bit and puff, they are defenseless

i really miss yuno, albeit the story is getting more and more into my striking zone i still want to see the genius prodigy having his spotlight too

and now the traitor will be announced: i vote for the leader of the first order, she/he looks like a good possibility

and i decided: i take the orphan-oneesama, she has all the skills a girl needs and is already established to be a normal citizen, so there will be no "she has powers but we need to let the MC look awesome so she turns into a damsel" moments

i got a new favorite magic element painting magic the captain suddenly created a painting of a garden in the room XD and is it only me or does the art of the author get better?

yami and the captains in general are some funny bunch "if direct magic doesnt work than lets throw big pieces of stones at him" XD
unfortunatly for him someone without mana can easily feel ki (mostlikely because aster doesnt have any senses for mana which magicians usually have) he is his natural enemy if it comes to sensing him AND he is the natural enemy for all magicians, double fail

Just found the forum today. Black clover was sooooo good. No emo brats and this series even screen a mad scientist yandere this early! Although aster is so adorable and the sorcery emperor is a freaky magic otaku, yami still the best. He looks like that yakuza boss but feels like a badass father when he was with aster. And, noelle is elegantly tsundere, cutee!! Wish black clover will be on the long run... Oh, I think this is a bit unfair, because juno has no girl on his ship now, while aster having 4 (or 5 if the siscon's imouto is counted).

Following the last chap, I'm pretty sure Liar imposing Marx or one of the captains they fought earlier, ofc yami is out of question tho. So far, the enemies is so op, and the diamond kingdom also suspicious. And the next mission is coming. Wish aster won't go back tattered again and get a new anti magic spell or armor. Two swords is enough for now

Btw, another awesome manga I read is Helck. It starts with gag manga but turned into deep feels. One of the last boss is a ship destroyer. Where ever there is a sailing romance, he will appear. Kinda gintama like, only not as random as gintama

and noelles perfects spell seems really cool, a gigantic sphere of water surrounding her, basically a spell which can be used in offense or defense and if the sphere can capture people than even a supporing function

the comedy is strong in this one

i really like the midget-girl, her appetite coldmaybe even keep up with some toriko-chars

and the fights will now happen seriously, noelle fights the girl who helped her master her one spell,
i expect noelle to learn at least one more spell which are offensively

and aster is fighting another dude with 2 swords, good, lets see how his skills will keep up with a pro
