Plot Summary:

Suddenly high school student Subaru Natsuki has been summoned to another world on the way back from the convenience store. With the biggest crisis of his life being summoned to another world and no sign of the one who summoned him, things become worse when he is attacked. But when he is saved by a mysterious silver-haired girl with a fairy cat, Subaru cooperates with the girl to return the favor. When they finally manage to get a clue, Subaru and the girl are attacked and killed by someone. Subaru then awakens in the place he was summoned and notices he gained the ability "Returns by Death." A helpless boy that only has the ability to rewind time by dying. And beyond the despair can he save the girl from the fate of death?

Finally, a proper PV!

Looks pretty good too. Don't mind the CG crowds much since studios have been using that for most technical demanding aspects of animation for years now (see how barely one anyone hand draws cars nowadays ) and these don't stick out too much. Though on the otherhand, I was expecting Konomi Suzuki's OP to feel closer to No Game No Life for this series rather than Bubuki Buranki, but sounds good eitherway.

All the scenes in the PV were from part 1, and probably from the first three episodes.
Some of the fight scenes are from the later parts of part 1, so gives me optimism that the quality will keep up at least for a while.

Actually I think all those scenes in the PV are from the first episode. Given that the premier is an hour long, and what people who went to the pre-screening said about where the first episode ended, it's possible White Fox could have covered the first two cycles. So theoretically we could end the first arc by ep 3 or 4 interesting enough.

IMO, I think it's probably still 2 whole cours. Usually animation studios are pretty clear distinguishing about whether something is a split cour or 2 cours, at least I've never recalled them using those terms interchangeably before.
