Bi*chy whiner learned that Takeshi and Kurumi were going out, and as usual whined, got violent, and rampaged. In Vol 6 things got out of hand again, and he goes berserk due to jellyness and slashes Kurumi. Takeshi who watched Kurumi get killed before his very eyes, goes berserk himself. The volume ends with Kurumi (in the process of) dying and Mui lamenting at the hopelessness of the situation. After a while Mui attacks Gekkou and the Magicians from Trailers attack Takeshi. (Takeshi and Gekkou were still fighting while all of this was happening)

Scrawny little plonker wasn't all that important until Volume 5, that's where things with whiner escalated. The first 4 volumes were really good, all until volume 5 where that hateful little ^#&@%& appeared.

I thought Kurumi hated all men apart from Takeshi... so how come she said she can just talk to Gekkou to make up with Takeshi on episode 1?

Which is why I don't mind Gekkou too much. He's made to be hated, so I hate him. I just have problems with the other characters... and the writing in general, really. It's like... the "building blocks" for an awesome story are there, but the author failed to put them together properly and much of it comes crashing down, with only a few admittedly awesome moments every now and then. Some of the "building blocks" chosen were busts, too, but let's not go there. A shame, really, since I want to like this. If the writing were good, Kurumi could have become one of my favorite characters of all time.
