I love those little red decorations it's ready to go IMO
but I think it would be better if you place the texts a little to the right (they touch the red flower) and re-arrange the tilted snowflake if it got covered by the texts.

Looks good, but try to make them more aligned with the ribbons notice that the "A" letter is kind of strayed.

I was going for an Urban Winter theme since Kurisu is well. . . always in the city so idk, I'd love comments on how to make it better.

v0: Well, looks like it's Yui for me (again). Kinda made this in a hurry just to try and get the basic layout down to pat, so there's not really any wintery decorations yet. The render certainly looks better than when I first tried to make it. Which gradient on the text looks better, red or blue? Any other thoughts?

Already tried using the pen tool to form a curve text to flow better with the ribbons, and the image is either from a random vn, or original, konachna link says that is original, but it have a little text in the botton that looks like from a vn.

@Ahelo: Oh i forgot the quote yours, okey, for me the whole font and pic dont looks like winter, but its cool, just think that the blue bg vs. brown and black colours dont look cool.

I like the concept and the fonts too. I think you might want to add more stuffs to "fill" your banner

I like the red one better since Yui's kimono is reddish also agree with Bila, the black stroke is somehow quite disturbing

Actually, I prefer your very first version with the trees on both sides of the background, but with more visible text of course. But if you want to continue with this one, I think it's only the font color that needs a change. Using the red from the girl's coat might work IMO

The 3.2 is better IMO.
I noticed that Kurisu's hair color is kind of messy and pixelated. This might be caused by many things, such as the JPG save quality / bad scan quality / or too much color enhancement (oversaturation or something like that)

I think you need to make the BG color more varied since it's almost invisible for me, especially the buildings maybe use white color for the snow flakes, or use more contrasted variations of the blue color

@ ahelo I would go with v3,2 but you could add some shape on the background,just teep it mind than you should keep some ''buffer zone'' ( gradiant only) at each end of the border
@Ryonea The problem with my first version was the text, especialy a text than look good and is easy to read, it has to be too much to the right. As the text's color, you think of something like that ?


As for yours, the paw-shaped font isn't bad but mightn't relate with the winter theme

If that member has already posted a banner then the only solution is for the other member to give you the banner so that you may post it yourself as your entry. Any member can only submit one entry after all.
