The way I see it right now is, Sinbad is actively against Al Sarmen and he's recruiting / using everyone he can get toward that and maybe something else. I guess his curse showing he's equally dark and light so he's the "grey" of the series. Al Sarmen would be the black and Ali Baba and Alladin's small group would be the white. It just kind of depends on what his ultimate goal is after Al Sarmen is beaten. Also Al Sarmen has been shown to be extremely ineffective. I can't take them as a credible threat anymore.

I don't think that he'll be the final villain too, but he's definitely be some form of adversary that Alladin & co. will have to overcome at some point in the story.
The whole set-up stunk of it, anyway. I mean, an overpowered mentor figure, whom despite being fundamentally a good person at heart, has grown to embrace darker shades of gray 'for a better cause'? Complete with an ensemble of generals whom part of them are direct mentors to the main protagonist? And to add to salt, a 'curse' that sinks them to the dark side over time? And it's on both characters whom parallels each other as 'Kings?' If that's not asking for an eventual clash of the innocent young vs the slightly jaded old, I don't know what else will. I don't think it'll be necessary an evil thing though. It could very be done on a good-natured end, but I do think a clash will eventually occur.

I think Ugo left the series for good, he said that Aladdin has friends and doesn't need him(Ugo) to look after him(Aladdin). If he ever appears again, it will be when Aladdin has grown as a magi and can summon Ugo with his own power, which I expect either at the end of the series or before the final arc (summoning him as an ally).

Which of Sinbad's generals are your favorites? I like Yamuraiha, Pisti (just because her femininity got trolled by Aladdin>v<), Hinahoho, and Dracon-(MANDRAGON FOR THE WIN!)

No way. Mor's not flat, she doesn't smile (except for those treasured "when she smiles~♥" moment), especially not that vaguely dangerous smile, and the person is holding some sort of...cleaver. Also, that's a Chinese-themed background/outfit. I think it's a Kou Empire character. Judal has black hair so that can't be him.
And my trap-dar is ringing; so, a prince? An Al Sarmen member in the Kou Empire? Something like that. |
