Watching this ep might be more painful than watching one of those lovely girls in Higurashi kill some people (^_^)........however my curiosity keeps me here, for some reason I want to see some romance between Sakura and Naruto since the fighting and interesting parts will be delayed until God knows when.....(bring Sasuke fast!!!)

Did you guys see how Naruto avioded that tree limb with surprising agility. He looked really cool there but thats very unlike him. I guess the animators are giving him a little well needed boost in skill. If Kishi was animating the show he woud have most likely let Naruto hit the tree and fall to the floor in comedic fashion.

Sai follows Orochimaru, switch back to YamatoNaruto/Sakura, Naruto falls, wakes up, Sakura falls, wakes up. Episode over!

Actually, I liked this episode. For not having any battles (which have sucked lately anyway), this was a good episode. The story moved well, it was nice to get some new information on Yamato, and the animation was nice in some sequences. I personally enjoyed the look on Sakura's face while she was holding Naruto, and the look on both of their faces when Yamato was telling them why they had to grow up. Plus, this is the first time I can say that them jumping through the trees was cool. First Naruto dodged two limbs like a pimp, then Sakura showed off a little bit. Then she slipped, and Yamato exhibited his tree-jumping skills to save her. Not to shabby at all. 8/10

One final note: I love when people talk to their own bunshins. I don't think I could ever get used to talking to myself in real time...ever.

yeah you're right but in service to all that is in glory.....it's a bit annoying on both sides. "oh noes. can't watch my shippudden" heck im upto date with the manga and it's a fucking blast. im gaining more than im losing. of course im looking forward to the animation but honestly, shippudden has become a strain of 20min long "DBZ" staring contests. i remember correctly that the present events in the anime were far more epic and better paced in the manga. i get the no fillers thing but now they're just extending uber amount of "hold ur breath naruto we won't know till next week." anyways.....i guess we'll see.

naruto is in a bad state, id imagine if he was to enter another battle while tailing orochimaru he would be hopeless, same for sakura and that last revelation in this episode will probably put a block on his kyuubi chakra usuage, he would get pawned if he encountered another foe i guess it really puts things into perspective .........

anyway i got to say its pretty ok i gave it a 4 pace was good compared to previous chapters. contentw as bad.

It took naruto 3.29 min to understand what sai was up to. so i got bored. Then for whatever dumb reason he had to faint or go i feel pain which was totally retarded seeing how he before that could be his normal self. Then supposevely he was ok started pulling his arm in the sky and jump 300 meters into the forest totally retarded if you ask me.

sakura case was better done imo. Plus its gay and painful seeing how people need to explain the meaning to so called ninja's who dont know what to say do in situations.

Those exact events did happen in the manga. Would you have prefered they skipped that entire part and jump ahead?

I think I'm gonna sit this episode out and wait until a few weeks when it starts to build up again.
waiting every week for those episodes is very draining....I need a break!....and from Bleach too.

For not having any battles (which have sucked lately anyway), this was a good episode. The story moved well, it was nice to get some new information on Yamato, and the animation was nice in some sequences.
