I like most of the I've Sound members, and Kotoko is one of my favourites. The first time I heard her was when she sang the themes for Shakugan no Shana, and after 'delving deeper,' I became a fan. My favourite Kotoko songs are Re-sublimity, Agony, Second Flight, Face of Fact ~Resolution version~ , Trust Your Truth and Being.

I love quite a number of Kotoko's songs. Got into their music when I heard the ED and OP for Kannazuki no Miko and that was the end of it. Currently have their songs from Onegai Sensei!, Onegai Twins, Triangle Heart: Sweet Songs Forever, Shana, and Starship.

I never heard of Kotoko before, but I have heard daily-daily Dream (Hayate no Gotoku S2 OP 2) which one Anime Blogger suggested and sounded pretty good... I'm guessing that her other works are just as good as well.

I've posted here before.... but yeah there are a *lot* of Kotoko fans. I'm just impressed by that volume of sound coming out of such a small frame. She can really put the sound out. I'm not fond of the "typical japanese sugary pop tunes" but her harder-edged stuff is great. First heard of her when I encountered the ED tune for Tweeny Witches and thought "good lord, who's making that powerful sound?"

I would classify myself an indirect Kotoko Fan. So many songs I've heard and would not know that Kotoko was the one signing. One perfect example would be one of my favorite non english songs (Second Flight - Onegai/Please Twins)
I was just starting to get into a habit of anime in general. I got addicted shortly after hearing this song and the corresponding anime. |

I think its so funny how she could sound. I hear her songs like the Tweeny Witches Ending and then here something like Real Game of Tag and I would have never though that it was the same woman! My Jaw dropped when I heard the Tweeny Witches ending and found out it was her. LOL I'll admit i'm really not into her sweet, sugar sounding songs. But her deep, darker ones like Suppuration -Core-, Re-Sublimity, and Uzumaki kick ass!

Speaking of KOTOKO's darker songs, I went to try translating Collective's lyrics after seeing comments on Youtube... really huge shock as to their meaning.
Speaking of her newest album, I like Drive the most, which reminds me of Re-sublimity somewhat, followed by Ame to Guitar. As for her latest single, SCREW, the other song inside, BUCCANEER, is the one I'm liking more. Other ones I just recently managed to get and really like were Double Harmonize Shock, done by her and Utatsuki Kaori, from Short Circuit II, and the songs Room and Akanezora, from the Kimiaru and Majikoi games respectively. These three were like so freaking hard to find...

Newbie fan of Kotoko here having started to be interested in her music after I watched Kannazuki no Miko last week, and haven't listen to enough of her songs yet to have a favorite, since I liked almost all of the ones I've heard so far.
