You know, just today that I realized that a good base story would yearned a much more larger Inner-Verse setting. For example, Muv-Luv to Type-Moon. While it's certainly harder to write than Type-Moon, plus its cast is a bit smaller, Muv-Luv is certainly making your fic has unlimited potential for creation.

So could that be with IS? I mean, how many fic doesn't centered in ISA?

Not that much, IIRC. Unless it's AU. The ISA is an important setting in the canon story. So making a story with a less emphasis on that place is a little bit, how can I say this... off? Or unusual?

If you kick ISA out of the focus, you need to go all out in return

For example, focusing on Natasha Fairs

But as you can see, canon material for them is very limited, thus full speed fanon is expected.

And unless you're resorting to OC support, you can only made one shot or two at most.

I swear it's either authors feel the need to assert male dominance by making an overtly 'badass' OC/Ichika in Name Only to stroke their egos or they demonize females by making them baby eating cannibals that want to wipe the male population in order to feel victimized. I swear it's like watching a faux documentary on the fall/rise of the male gender.

Tch... Now I have this crazy idea. Basically Older Ichika with the Twin Chifuyu and Madoka got adopted to the Shirasaki. So instead of two little sisters, he would get four!

It's still a matter of how talented is the author. If the Character is focused on the tradition, the equality,... it's still acceptable. But if it's just the Ego - or like I always say: "Fufilling their pathetic dreams in the tiny cage that we call Canon" - Then it's the worst type. Many authors simply don't have the mind for the awaiting horizon!

Hypocrite am I? I truly enjoy seeing Ichika got maimed by the girls. Not that I'm a masochist.
