I suspect she *admires* Mio more because she finds qualities desirable (work ethic, dedication, study, etc). Yui is more like a tolerated but not disliked idiot that means well. Azusa is amazed by her raw talent but thinks Yui is incompetent otherwise - one of those trade-off relationships.

Azusa made it very clear several times that she highly admires Mio, both for her mature attitude, and her bass-playing skills. Heck, she literally said she wouldn't mind having a big sister like Mio, that's how much she looks up to her.

I think she'd like Yui a lot more if the latter didn't bully her so much (cat ears, hugging, etc.), and if she stopped being lazy. She definitely is impressed by Yui's innate talent, and she also likes it when she truly gets to practice with her, but not enough to truly admire her for.

Well it looked to so that the Mio Fan Club would survive in another year they are setting up Azuza as her successor.

Azusa is like Mio's imouto she didn't know about.

I don't think she really needs a future plan : someone will take care of her alright : her passive cuteness can simply charm any guy into feeding her for life.
