Here's what we know.

The new season is titled Futari wa Milky Holmes, and it'll be a 12-minute anime like Muromi. Not what I was expecting, but I can roll with it. It begins this summer.

The OP is by Milky Holmes, and the ED is by Milky Holmes Feathers, which I think is the two new girls.

Let's see how Cure Black and Cure White here are in relation to the team I already know and love.

Awesome key visual, and the artwork is much more precisely faithful as well. Too bad it's a 15 minutes-type of show but I'll likely enjoy regardless since I always care for the franchise.

Anyone who has an issue with the episode length should see Galaxy Angel's mastery of the format. It is the precursor of Milky Holmes and a hilarious comedy.

Does anyone know if they phantom thieves will be in s3?
I was a bit taken back realizing the shorter episodes, and how it seems to be focusing more on the girls (more than before, of course, since they've always been the main focus.)
The phantom thief empire were just such great characters, and it'd be a shame if they weren't in it ;o;

Based on this post, it appears that G4's role (except for Kokoro) may have been reduced, but a new member of the Yokohama police is joining the cast. Keiko Totsukawa, played by Ikumi Nakagami (aka GuP's Yukari.)

The biggest question I ever had to ask myself (for this particular franchise): Do I consider Ellery from Milky Holmes 2 to be the Fifth Holmes, or do I count Alice and Kazumi? I was considering it to be Mori Arty at one point, but she's really more of their destined rival*. That's what I kinda like about a franchise with so many different interpretations. Technically, they're all correct.

This is NOT the 3rd season, it's just a very boring spin-off, like Alternative.
The lovable cast is just a shell of their former selves. They evern have the exact same face now, just different hair. Thank you JC Staff. Can I keep the knife you jammed in back?

It felt rather different so far than S1 or S2... I am not really sure how good it will end up being if it stays feeling 100% serious like the 1st ep did.

Meh I'll be giving it a chance though.

What the hell???

The whole point of Milky Holmes, and the whole reason I watched it in the first place, was because the show and all the characters were completely batshit insane.
The "God of Lard" arc was possibly the funniest most mental thing ever - whoever wrote that was a genius. An insane genius, yes, but a genius!

This looks like an alternative universe version where all the characters are serious and competent.
That's no fun!
