Male Lead with a unique personality

I'm looking for good anime with the male lead having a unique personality. For example, L from death note.

I feel like a broken record for recommending this show but Irresponsible captain Tylor's protagonist I'd say is pretty unique, especially for a military captain. Plus, he's rather open to several interpretations, (is he a genius, insanely lucky, or perhaps a little bit of both?)

GTO has a very unorthodox, but incredibly inspirational teacher as a male protagonist. Plus he's hilarious.

Akagi certainly is a unique character. It's a rather unique anime as well, though, definitely not for everyone. If you do manage to get into it, it's a great ride.

hmm i don't really think L is the "main lead" but hes certainly a main for half the series.

I think darker than black, where the main protag's personality is ever shifting and stuff..though you don't really give much detail on what you're looking for except...unique...like L....

Maybe give us more info like what intrigues you about L's personality or is it the situation of being the closet detective

Well, I guess the way he acts. For ex, how he sits, holds paper, spoons, it's just unique.
