Hi i was Wondering about a Badminton Anime that i have heard about from Badmintoncentral Forum, and im wondering if its an anime or it is still a Manga?
Does any1 know about this?

Wow. Badminton anime! There are only two people I can think of that may know the answer to your question: kj1980 and seifer_us. Or you can just google it.

And I thought tennis was bad enough, but badminton?!

Well i don't think it will be bad for people who actually Play, since they will actually like the sport.
well the Plot, from what i heard is that there was this Boy who Plays Basketball or some Sport for his School team, but he sucked and he was cut or somthing. And His Sister who is on the school's Badminton team, but that school only has a Female Badminton team becuase of the Lack of Male Players. and he was force to play badminton becuase of some reason i can't recall

...and he finds out that there is more to this sport then jus Hitting the birdie, so he joined the school team. Being the only guy there, he trains with other female players who completely wopes him, and yea.....thats how the story begins.

they partically made anime/manga out of every existing sports in the world except track and field

(not awfully bloody exciting you see) .

Actually badminton is quite a cool sport, more so than tennis in my opinion. It has speed, airiness and some badass techniques. Doesn't mean an anime about it must be good though...

That reminds me of the POT episode where they were all playing different sports. I think badminton was one of them. The best was when Echizen used twist serve on table tennis.

Alas, i haven't seen a manga nor an anime about badminton. I do have a yoyo anime

Anyways, i have seen an anime (fansub) about mahjong No kidding. Alas, I forgot the title though.

Battle Athletes Victory had quite a lot of track & field in it.

all of a sudden the plot of hikaru no go is poping into my mind

I think i would be cool that if they did make an anime out of badmition, there would be speical powers involved and obsicals

. Also there would have to be risks that the main charictar would have to take. A good anime has riskes involed, becasue if it didn;t then it would be soo obvious to the audiunce what was going to happen next

Prince of Fishing...

You know, there was something very much like that.
Tsurikichi Sanpei (aka. Fisherman Sanpei), the 1980, Nippon Animation
classic.

The heart warming story of a young fisherman who travels the
countryside and dreams of becoming the greatest fisherman...
He also travels abroad and competes in fishing competetions...

It's not my cup of tea, but at about 110 episodes someone
obviously thought it was good.

Now to find something simular to a Prince of DDR type series...

Badminton? BADMINTON?!!? I got your.... No, Badminton is cool. My brother used to play that. But I play Squash. Squash rocks. It kicks tennis fair in the teeth. Where's Prince of Squash? People don't break bones in tennis (usually). Squash rocks. A squash anime would be cool because (like badminton) it could have all sorts of 'special skills' and stuff.

Oh, and just what is this DDR thingy? never ever ever ever heard of that!
