Been looking all over the place for pics of Evangeline, with her fangs showing found some good ones here and was wondering if any one had any more?

What people *should* be apologizing for is posting images INLINE. That bogs up the server. Put the images on Imageshack or some other image server and THUMBLINK them here. That way you don't incur the anger of the mods, eh?

Okay, I'll be verbose since I didn't say that "images hosted elsewhere" bog up the server. I can see where the use of the word 'inline' might have confused but I was referring to images actually inserted into the post (and therefore on the AS server). The next sentence after that ("Put the images on Imageshack...") makes the intended meaning pretty clear.

We have a few posters who are posting images directly on the AS server. Those bog up the server. The administrators do not like those people

Separately, thumbnailing is a courtesy to the many readers who are on dialup or have restrictive bandwidth -- Posting large or many image files inline hoses those people up. Note that our more prolific posters (e.g. Maids!x3) are careful to thumbnail imagery to reduce page loading impact and not be wasteful of bandwidth.

Spoiler tagging large image files does not protect anyone - in many browsers the file is still downloaded even though it isn't directly displayed. So again, thumbnailing is a courtesy to the reader.... after all, the intent is that everyone *want* to look at the thread for the pretty pictures, eh?

People on low b/w need to use FF+extensions to make the most out of their connection. Disable pic and flash by default and only load what you want to see with a mouse click.
