New chapter is out and it feels like they keep dragging it out. I'm tempted to step away until the series finally does end at some point, because each chapter ends in some kind of cliffhanger where they either expand on what Koichi could do or Six seemingly getting an upper hand.

Really feels like Kouichi is going to die. He's hallucinating and he doesn't even feel pain anymore.
Given everything he's shown those past few chapters, I'm pretty sure Kouichi could have been in the top 10 in terms of fighting prowess if he had become a pro hero. He has incredible speed, reflexes, defense, and now power.

I don't know, that'd leave a bitter taste when you consider Knuckleduster is probably dead considering everything and Pop was having a seizure last we checked. If he dies too then that's a triple play on the death counter, and while it would be a twist I don't think the series was going for that angle.
I mean, AFO is probably going to jack his quirk because like you said he's showing all of that potential and All Might isn't around at the moment while Kurogiri is, but I don't see him dying.

I was hoping the spin-off would avoid the main series' mistake, but now we have Koichi feeling sorry for Six. At least he doesn't intend to save him (too late anyway).
The whole dream sequence when their children selves are playing when in reality they're beating the crap out of each other feels like it came straight out of Chainsaw Man, but with none of the emotional impact.
