The lead bullets were a nice way to make Chika useful (and she was very useful in this match) but as we've seen, this has its limits. They're commenting that the lead bullets are nice since they go through shields, but Chika's cannon should be impossible to block anyway. They would have gotten a whooping three more points if she had been able to shoot Teruya (1 for the kill and two for surviving).
Yuuma actually ended up being the only survivor, poor Kakizaki ![]()

A really nice match here. Katori might have tried to throw off Osamu through questioning, but in the end she was the one most aggravated by the conversation. Osamu hasn't got a fraction of her raw talent, but he knows what he has to do. For himself as much as for those around him he has to just do what is within his ability.
My condolences to Katori...but yeah, they are the main characters of this story ![]() Credit due that Yoko did manage to score a point there despite basically having nothing left. But it simply wasn't enough. Osamu really did take this whole "even if you drop out you can benefit your team" angle to the fullest. He didn't stand a chance 1 on 1 with Katori, but he didn't just go down either. He opened the route for Kuga to secure the win for their team. Heck, he even managed to get some work done himself. Even if his attacks aren't incredibly powerful, they can still take down opponent's that don't see them coming. Condolences given to Kakizaki. Even though he would have gotten the point off Kuga if he ran out of trion...it doesn't matter ![]()

Katori's flashback is what I hope for
The destruction of first invasion, anime with color, light and sound that manga can't give Just hope they somehow able to do battle scenes even better than current ones It would be awesome

Biggest difference ain't just the animation but most importantly the pacing which is usually 3.5 chapters per episode whereas in season 1 it was like 1.5 chapters. That gives it a much better flow than in the previous season. Quote:
Agreed with the flashback. Really taken back with Hana's fingers because her ripped off nails were shown and I expected some censor there, but no, Toei gave the okay to show that too. Props to them. Chika has yet to get the fixed shield that Kitora got in her trigger build. But after this I am sure Chika will get it as well, after all with her huge trion that fixed shield could survive everything Border could throw at it, perhaps even Amon's BT form. xD

I don't know if anyone has posted here before, but although a third season has been announced, it will not happen soon after the current season is over. The block anime in which World Trigger is shown in Japan (numanimation) has already announced that anime will air in the April season: https://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/numanimation/

Aftermath episode and Hyuse recruitment episode.
Moderators tell about all the good points of Tamakoma-2, like focusing on making Yuuma stronger instead of themselves and their faux-pas like revealing their lead hound trigger or Chika obviously having a problem to kill someone even if it is only a trion body. Kakizaki got off easier as he also showed the weakness of this strategy which is all focused around Yuuma, the moment he is out T-2 lost the match. Katori got really chewed out. After this match she even wanted to leave (not for real ofc, she'd rather beat those "cocky rookies", but with her low frustration level...), but her teammates convinced her to keep trying for a while longer. She admitted she is bad at studying and thinking up ideas and admitting your flaws is the first step to either correct them or work around them, to put more focus on her strengths which is her insane natural ability like using wires without any training during a heated match and getting a kill. Hyuse is ready to join T-2 and Osamu needs to convince the Top brass of saying ok to that while Hyuse refuses to share any info in regards to Aftokrator. Well, since Jin says it's ok, it means it will be ok, so no worries on that front. Hyuse joining T-2 gonna be HUGE considering he is another Neighbor Veteran disguised as an another Border rookie, lol. With Yuuma and Hyuse even the top teams should be beatable by T-2!

Say what you want about Katori, but she is clearly capable of growth and with help from her teammates is willing to address her flaws.
Now Osamu needs to convince the upper brass to let Hyuse on the team while Hyuse himself is offering basically nothing in return.

Katori is a bundle of flaws. But she's also a bundle of talent. If this incident sparks some growth in her then who knows. In a sense her team has the same weakness of Osamu's team. It's all about that one Ace and when they fall or get damaged then things go south in a hurry. At least the direction Osamu and Chika are going down contributes to emphasizing what the Ace does well. Hopefully for Katori's sake she can learn to work with her team a bit more and hopefully they have the ability to support her beyond just being living shields to tank hits for her.
Good luck to Osamu. Hyuse is a royal pain. Kind of funny we go from one troublesome character in Katori being in the spotlight to Hyuse. He is also a huge asset if they can get him on the team. But he's basically useless in terms of actually making that happen. Holding out information doesn't help his actual goal. And honestly what information he has likely won't do much harm either compared to the information Border already has. But he's still stubbornly staying quiet while the only thing he can offer is only valuable if he can get on the team. This is going to require some amazing effort from Osamu. Not sure how he can make this look like anything but a huge risk to Border.

Another episode that felt like 5 minutes despite all that talking. Really liked the jumping ship and how they explained why Chika is so important to make the ship bigger or reduce its lay days for the mission. Without Chika they would either have to stop more or longer and both options are risky considering most Neighbors probably won't like a ship full of soldiers landing in their lands.
Hyuse joins Tamakoma-2, mission succeed! We get to see Ikoma Squad and Oji Squad and already see what a goofball Ikoma is. Love that guy. <3 Oji sounds perfect, just the kind of intelligent easy-going sound I had in mind for him. Lol about his teeth sparkle, what a prince-type. XD Next episode we gonna get the battle between those two squads and Tamakoma-2 as wella s Hyuse star entrance into Border which he totally gonna blow away considering he is already a seasoned veteran and got tons of trion. Also Mario a cute, whoever says differently is a heretic! :P
