Ika With a Question Mark The Final - The Mock Invasion Plan

The first segment was pretty amusing. Chizuru is more a force of nature than a person, even with everything that went on in the previous episode. It's a little closer to an actual invasion than Ika's gotten... ever, even if it was fake, but she's still got quite a ways to go. The second segment got pretty morose, almost uncharacteristically so, but seeing Eiko and Ika make up at the end was all well and good for a finale. Plus, bon dancing! Pretty good second season. The cast is growing closer and closer together, orbiting Ika's star. Though Nagisa could've done with a bit more focus.

Like how she tried to practice invading. Chizuru really is the best security system, that poor kid. The second half was really good. Glad it was Eiko that found her and they made up. Who was that girl though. Chizuru admitted they were invaded!

Her name, according to Wikipedia is Tabane Kozue TaKo (octopus?)

She was in the first season...again only for one episode. She had a talk with Ika when Ika thought she was alone. She's not alone...there are other invaders from the sea out there.

I really loved the 2nd series, but I thought that bickering between Ika and Eiko too childish.
The ending of season one was superior, but they made up in the end, just to get into another childish bickering.
Kozue was mysterious as usual, she seems to watch over Ika without being noticed and she showed to be full aware of the bickering as well.
Hope the third series can fresh out things and introduce her as a major cast characters.
And I wonder if they'll show a Black Ika Musume, since one of the mini-Ika side stories had a Black Mini-Ika Musume.
About Sanae, I don't like her so much... Her "love" about Ika Musume is much more obsession than another thing and in the mangá, Eiko explained that Sanae had a odd crush on bizzarre animals like spiders, slugs, caterpillars and alikes. So I conclude that obsession exploded when she realized that Ika was a hybrid.
She pretend that Ika-chan hurt her to demonstrate love, but is unaware that she does that because she don't like her at all. In fact, Sanae live in a illusion which she made for herself.
I'm willing to buy the mangá and DVDs if come to Brazil.
If there is no companies willing to broadcast the show, then they could at least provide the mangás and DVDs.

I actually laughed when Eiko though Ika musume drowned. I mean she is a supposed to be sea creature after all.

Sanae finally scores after all the beatings. She probably though its all worth it.
I don't think Ika actually hates her, she is just afraid of her (she will never admit fear though) from a deep misunderstanding arising from their first meeting. The difference between the fear of Chizuru and fear of Sanae is that she can actually beat Sanae down while she is powerless against Chizuru.

I wonder if Chizuru's words hints that there is not a 3rd season, but anyway let's hope a 3rd series come.

There is alot of unresolved issues like: "Did Ika gave up of conquering humans?"
"She'll try to find a more peaceful method to handle the issue with the ocean and the humans?"
Also, it would be good if she was teached that eco-terrorism doesn't solve anything.
Think about those maniacs who destroy and kill anyone pretending they're following a greater cause like saving the nature.

I don't liked the subs of the season 2 which are avaiable, calling her as "Squid Girl" or "Squiddie" (or alikes) doesn't sound right. The geso sounds much better than countless squid puns.
Ah, the creepy dolls appeared as a cameo too, in the mangá, they were not that scary if compared with the anime.

And way WAY much more mature than Ika... (and kinda prettier too)

Now... what other "invaders" do you think they actually have? (that's in humanoid form and somewhere on land or still in sea/ocean...)

It would be soooo funny if there was a Shark... tho I think it should be a playboy type that tries to "eat" Ika or the other girls (Octo girl etc.) LOL

And yea, I wonder if they'll have a 3rd season... (most likely) and I hope so.

Ika being afraid of ghosts after seeing then in the tunnel with Cindy (guess that crazy ufologist made them more scarier for the poor Ika) and later she having a nightmare which the ghosts blame her for eating their comrades, lol There is alot of unresolved issues like: "Did Ika gave up of conquering humans?"
