Looks like a January (Winter) 2019 show.

First 44 mins is for Boogiepop. Guests are Aoi Yuuki (Boogiepop/Touka), Saorin (Nagi) and Reina Kondo (Kazuoko). Largely talks about the quirks of voicing each respective character and misc stuff like bringing visual settings up to speed from 20 years ago. Funny stuff though, people comparing Madoka as Boogiepop

LN vol 22's (Panic-cute Kingcraft) release is also in winter. 2 manga titles are also OTW

Of all things I expected to see today, smug Boogiepop was rock bottom, but I'm not complaining. Bring it!

Gotta say I'm vey pleased with some of the other scenes in this trailer; despite the color diference some bits do feel like the first anime, in the way they give off a disturbing vibe, and even without that, it just looks really good overall.

Almost slipped past my radar. Oddly enough, I had never heard of Boogiepop until now, it was the studio and the staff that piqued my interest. This looks really promising.

Well, it is quite an old series, and the anime we got way back in the day was apparently a mix of side stories and original stuff, so it might not make for the best reference point, even if it's regarded as a classic for some.

I was quite mesmerised by the first trailer and its ominous melancholy. I haven't seen the first anime but it looks too interesting for me to pass up.

This easily my most hyped next season show. I can legitimately see this as the seasonal dark horse if it plays it's cards right.

Boogiepop was one of first animes I ever watched. TBH, I barely remember anything about the original series other than it being quite dark and episodic. It was hell of baptism into the medium tho.

I later found out that was a lot more influential than I thought it was at time because it pioneered a lot about contemporary low fantasy light novels and other similar setting that we see today. Durarara!! and Persona are biggest examples of it's style, so if you liked kinda of stories this would be pretty much up your alley.

Hanazawa is doing Mizuboshi. I simply cannot imagine how she is going to play this character.

Also, I am really surprised at the OP.
It sounds very Sasakure UK. Hard to believe this is by MYTH&ROID.

Pre-screening event of new Boogiepop is over and it looks like they will cover the first book in 3 episodes and series composition is convoluted as ever. First episode also will be an hour long special.

It seems like an hour specials are coming back more often, I read that Banana Fish will have one in the last episode and Tate no Yusha will also have one with the opening episode.

Pretty sure the last ep of Banana Fish is just 10 mins longer than regular ep, but I agree with the 1-hour special part. Hopefully we'll be seeing more and more of them since that's usually a sign that they're pretty confident with a show to pull it off.

In Russian-speaking territories (and French-speaking ones, I presume) it will be streamed by Wakanim if anyone interested.
