XIII Redux

1984: first publication of XIII, written by Jean Van Hamme, with art by William Vance.

2003: the first five volumes' storyline was adapted into a videogame. The taut gameplay and distinct cel-shaded style would help garner it something of a cult following.

18 April: Sony announces that the title has by no means been forgotten.

13 November: your opportunity to step into the shoes of America's most wanted man and piece together the mystery leading up to that dubious honor.

Note: while this announcement only mentions a PS4 release, the 2003 version did make it onto the XBox, GameCube, PC, and Macintosh as well. It is not inconceivable for the remake to similarly proliferate.
