is there an actual uninstaller for the umineko game or do you just delete the 07th expansion folder to uninstall the umineko game.

I seem to have a problem.
I'm running in vista, but I'm using Japanese locale and have all the bgms in the folder, but when I run the game it's still giving me the message to fix these things.

Any way to fix this?

That's good to hear, restarting didn't work either.
Also, it's crazy that there's 64 people viewing this thread right now.

I got the same problem, but I'm actually using XP

Both BGM folders are exactly the same size, but it keeps telling me that there is something wrong, well I'll try that again tomorrow I guess

Okay, it looks like chrono and I worked out my problem -- I was missing 翼.ogg in my BGM folder. It wasn't in my dvd's bgm folder either. Take a look to see if you have that track in yours. If you don't, copy it from your Ep 4 folder and paste it in there, and it will work.

If you do have 翼, then maybe you're missing a different track than me ...

I think I stumbled upon a rather nasty save-state bug in the EP5 patch.

Look at the save-state. Japanese and jumbled.

We'll try to take care of that in the next version, since it isn't hard at all. It has no effect whatsoever on your save files.

I'm having problems with running the patch.

First off I'm running Windows 7, and my system locale is on Japanese. I installed the VN, then I tried to follow the instructions with the BGM. I copied the files from the DVD, and when I check the BGM in my EP.5 folder they were already in the folder, so I replaced the files with the ones from the disk. When I ran the VN it gave me an error about the music file.

So I reinstalled it but this time didn't follow the BGM instructions, but it still gave me the error. I'm confused on what to do.

Give this a try and see if it works:

(that's 翼, italics make that character look kind of funny at least in my browser. :P)

You could just copy all the music from your Ep4 folder into the Ep5 folder, right?

It wouldn't replace the new tracks, and would account for any missing ones...
