I just finished this series and it wasn't too bad but nothing really interesting either.
Anyway, initially i thought Mizuho and Shion are a pretty good couple but it turns out shion isn't really interested in Mizuho. Later, Takako appeared and i switched to support the pairing instead. Love the Tsunderella episode.
One thing i noticed is the high sickness/death rate of the students in the school. Mizuho mother died young. Ichiko is sickly and died too. Shion is sickly. Yukari's sister in law who attended the school also died young. I think the school is like cursed or radioactive or something.

Just start watching this anime after read its manga version....but surprisingly, I'd prefer the manga than the anime.
I dont know why

And for the manga...I desperately search for its raws beyond scanlation (chapter 9) and still can't find it. Hope some one who knows will nicely point me to the right site, since from a friend of mine in another forum, I know Raw Manga for this series already reach chapter 16 (or 19??)

Well, the actual second game in the franchise is going to be coming out shortly, so I suppose there's still a chance that a new anime could follow that. That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if it's a project that just didn't end up working out for whatever reason and is permanently dead.
