So it begins, a gentle start to the series – I'm especially fond of Ruki. This thread should be moved to the current series and re-titled "Spring 2018" now that episodes are airing.

First episode is out.
I think this was a good start so far. Cute girls doing manga things. I have been reading the manga and ironically, this series is about cute girls drawing manga. The main cast so far seems to consist of diverse personalities too. What I really like the show so far is the character chemistry though. Not sure how I fee labotu Kaos yet since she is a bit too shy compared to the others but I think she'll adapt. The art style looks good in terms of quality. We'll probably get the theme songs next time, for OP and ED. This series is also picked up by Crunchyroll https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/new...-anime/.129970

Cute, and I like the characters. They've drastically altered the dorms from the manga, though. In the manga it had more students living there, it was a larger building, it wasn't isolated in a little nature spot, it wasn't old and in need of renovation. They've pretty much completely redesigned it, making it smaller, older, more isolated, and holding fewer people... and as a consequence removing some of the jokes that I enjoyed.
I mean, the building looks nice and homey and rustic and interesting, don't get me wrong. Someone put some thought into designing it for the anime. I'm just not sure that compensates for what was lost.

What? Come on, when have we seen a colorful SoL featuring a shy, insecure, small sized MC, a genki blonde best friend who goes at her own pace and a cool tomboy pro riddled with deadlines?
... ...*sigh* The chuuni part was cute, though. Oh, right. Hi, Rize, did you give up on guns? |

It was good. Yep, you need future sight for calling your daughter Moeta that some day will be the incarnation of moe.
And I kinda would like know why the manga of Kaos is poorly received because the designs are fine for a 4-Koma. Maybe is boring shit like Akumu Secret Society or shit like that with similar designs of characters? |

Also, I rather liked the chuuni. Time to get serious, on go an eyepatch and cape. Couple minutes later "Damn! This eyepatch and cape are in my way!" You don't often get people mention the inconvenience of being a chuuni. |

Another thing that pleased me is that this is an anime about creating manga... but it is not a harem like Eromanga Sensei.

She must have managed to publish one-shots, given that she got reader reviews. Depending on what chapters get adapted, at some point later we'll hear the editor's opinion about why she hasn't just told Kaos to give up and not come back.
