So it took 140 episodes for Leorio to finally do something. Can I assume this means it's going to take another 140 episodes for him to do something else?

I totally knew they were gonna end the episode right there. Next episode the arc will really go into high gear.

I think I can predict the end of this election process now. Leorio's punch video is going to go viral, and the Hunters Association will vote him in as the new president. My concern with this, however, is that Leorio is probably not strong enough nen ability-wise to deal with the Zodiacs, which will cause problems down the line.

So finally confirmed Alluka is female? After all Killua insists on the female Butler (Canary) as company for that very reason.

Nope, still ambiguous, since Killua is the only one treating her as such.

As awesome as that punch was I almost feel like Ging could have dodged it, but instead allowed himself to get hit.

No one's ever rebutted him for calling her a little sister either. Nothing changed on that front this episode.

If we just consider Alluka transgendered, it would solve the argument. The kid is "male" but acts and think that he is "female". The family would know the gender of that kid. They just don't want to accept that "he" wants to be a "she".

Can't agree with that. It was a different situation this time. He stated he wouldn't let an old man deal with his sister, because she's a young girl. It was by far the most direct approach to his/her gender and no one questioned Killua's reasoning.

The previous times, it would be pretty harsh if someone interrupted him just to say 'hey no dumbass, she's a he, stop calling him that". But this time there was an actual argument going on and everyone accepted his point of view. See the difference?

I'm not saying Alluka is a girl, but the fact is that if Togashi wanted to clear any doubts, this was the time to do so. So anyone is free to think whatever.

I can not remember the last time a long-running anime did not change the Theme song like Hunter X Hunter doing

Ironically, the last ones i remember using the same song for more than 100 episodes were Yuyu Hakusho and Sailormoon.

Of course, kid/family shows like Doraemon or Maruko-chan still do this kind of thing.

True, people are free to think what they want. But those servants aren't going to contradict what Killua is saying. They are prob used to him calling Alluka "she". They just want to get the trip over and done with and get back to the facility without any problems. Alluka can handle his own bodily functions and personal care so Canary prob doesn't have to do much. The question that the butler asked also can be interpreted as why was there a female butler there and not another male butler.

Togashi prob thinks that it's "fun" to keep the readership guessing about Alluka's gender. Just think of it as a reverse Princess Knight.

Good to see my fellow sister Canary in the house after so long, man it's good to see her again. Episode's all but said Tsubone's incredibly fearsome and I like the fact that she's an old woman. Amane sounds a lot gruffer than I imagined.

I love how Pariston constantly snipes and belittles people while having that smile on his face, he really is an arsehole lol. And we finally get to see Leorio use Nen.

EDIT: I'm surprised nobody's talking about Kurapika's cameo yet. And it's terrifying to imagine what Gon's vows were.

I'm confused at people still being confused on how to call Alluka when it has already been repeatedly shown that the characters who want to call her a boy are the same that literally treat her like an object. If you don't think that Togashi is sending you a clear message here, I don't know what you need.

It goes deeper than that. All guidebooks, ads and promos calls Alluka a dude. There is no reason that these resources will do that unless they know for sure.

We can argue till our face turn blue and we still won't get anywhere. People who believes that Alluka's a dude will do as such and likewise on the other side.

All I know is that Alluka has a penis and hearing his moe voice is giving me the most awkward boner.
